Much of the YHA hostel network is available for use by groups and schools. We offer both group accommodation that’s great for teacher-led residentials as well as complete packages. Unless stated the hostel is bed and board only.

The Hive (Formerly Suntrap Forest Centre) is an environmental residential centre situated in Epping Forest on the edge of East London. It is perfect for residential school trips of 2-3 nights stay and outdoor residential experiences such as, camping. At The Hive our environmental education offer aligns with the National Curriculum and supports classroom-based learning for all Key stages. (Group sizes up to 64)

The Tattenhall Conway Centre provides educational groups with residential school trip experiences that are not only focussed on the arts but also on outdoor enrichment activity adventure experiences such as kayaking, orientering, archery and so much more . The Residential centre accommodates up to 80 students and 7 staff.

With the primary role to operate both as a residential and day activity centre, Anderton Centre in Lancashire focuses on working with school groups of all ages. Offering water-and land-based activities on the stunning shores of Rivington reservoir, Anderton Centre also offers both catered and non-catered accommodation for residential school trips. Mount Cook Outdoor Residential Adventure Centre in the Peak District Derbyshire, offers schools and educational groups a wide-range of adventure enrichment activities in the great outdoors with many years of experience and highly trained instructors. Accommodation consists of 140 beds across 35 bedrooms with ensuite shower room, plus glamping pods to sleep 40.

Belmont Outdoor Education Centre is located about 30 minutes from both Dundee and Perth in around 100 acres of fabulous grounds and woodland. The area is an ideal school trip destination for both water sports like kayaking and canoe trips but also for walking or climbing. Pinkery is Exmoor National Park’s Centre for Outdoor Learning. Built as an upland farmhouse, the original building has been expanded to create a unique moorland off-grid residential centre. located in its own wild moorland valley over 400 metres above sea level valley in the heart of Exmoor's Dark Skies Reserve. Offering 4 dorm accommodation with its own ensuite facilities and sleeps 44 so typically can cater for groups of up to 36 pupils and 8 staff , self-catering or catered kitchen with common room. We welcome groups from Key Stage 1 to University and beyond.
