Located on the Isle of Cumbrae, Firth of Clyde the field study centre has a rich history as a marine research station. Now its purpose-built accommodation and teaching spaces have been created to provide an excellent range of courses for school groups.

Nestled in the heart of the Lake District near Windermere, Scout Adventures Great Tower offers a stunning 250-acre base for adventurous activities, environmental or field studies and group development exercises. Surrounded by England's highest peaks, deepest lakes, and breathtaking scenery, Cumbria's natural wonderland is your playground. Situated on a 10 acre site, Llain Activity Centre Wales provides residential and a wide range of activity packages for schools. Wall climbing, high ropes, zip wire and all kinds of water sports will make school days exciting again. The school trip packages typically include full board accommodation and a full activity programme with day and evening instructor led activities. (Group sizes 12 to 170)

Hedley House Hotel York is only 6-7 minutes walk from York Railway Station and 10 minutes walk to York city centre. York is unique and a great destination for school trips, offering excellent educational resources and a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities at affordable prices. Hedley House is also close to River Ouse, which can make school trips exciting. It offers self or fully catered residential school trips. (Group sizes up to 70 students & 7 teachers)

Hindleap Warren outdoor residential centre is set in 300 acres of ancient woodland in East Sussex and provides outdoor enrichment learning adventure activities and experiences to primary and secondary schools. Residential capacity sleeps 164 young people and 20 leaders which can be split into 5 separate accommodation zones for smaller groups. Hindleap Warren is a fully catered residential centre.  (Group sizes up to 184)

Portland Outdoor Centre is located in two historic Victorian hotels overlooking the picturesque Portland Harbour in Dorset, providing an ideal setting for outdoor educational adventures. Our centre specialises in tailored adventure programs led by experienced instructors, complemented by fully catered residential accommodation for up to 140 guests, making it perfect for schools and educational groups. (Group sizes up to 140).

Brathay Hall offers an unrivalled Lake District setting on the shores of Windermere with open space and woodlands for exploring and fun, your educational group will benefit from experienced guidance, support and inspirational outdoor learning experiences.
