Mount Cook Outdoor Residential Adventure Centre in the Peak District Derbyshire, offers schools and educational groups a wide-range of adventure enrichment activities in the great outdoors with many years of experience and highly trained instructors. Accommodation consists of 140 beds across 35 bedrooms with ensuite shower room, plus glamping pods to sleep 40. (Group sizes up to 180)

These visits allow students and groups to engage directly with sustainable agriculture through activities like feeding farm animals, harvesting organic vegetables, and learning about the journey of food from soil to plate. The centre provides a wide array of curriculum-linked programs, ranging from "Survival in the Wild" bushcraft sessions to scientific "river dipping" studies where participants can wade into the shallow River Axe to examine local biodiversity. Sustainability is woven into every experience, often culminating in eco-cooking sessions using outdoor cob ovens and fresh ingredients gathered directly from the sprawling kitchen gardens.
