Field Study Residential Centre

Woodrow High House is one of London Youth’s residential centres. As a charity we aim to support & challenge young people of all abilities to be the best they can be. Bespoke activity programmes tailored to the objectives of your visit. The regular customers include primary and secondary schools, independent schools and SEND schools. Woodrow High House offers fully catered residential school trips. (Group sizes up to 123)

The DeanField Outdoor Centre Gloucestershire, offers school groups ages 8 and upwards enrichment residential adventure activity stays. With experienced instructor lead activities such as archery, bushcraft, field studies, orienteering, team building, water sports and lots more! Group size accommodation (99 max) comprising of dorms and ensuite teacher rooms (100+ on day visits). Fully catered or self-catered kitchen available for groups at weekends and in school holidays.

Located on the Isle of Cumbrae, Firth of Clyde the field study centre has a rich history as a marine research station. Now its purpose-built accommodation and teaching spaces have been created to provide an excellent range of courses for school groups.

Aylmerton residential outdoor education centre Norfolk is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of North Norfolk, offers tailor-made programmes to suit school groups. With immersive learning experiences in the natural world, Aylmerton is an expert at enhancing environmental awareness and providing a wide range of outdoor activities, making this outdoor residential centre one where children can learn and grow. The residential capacity sleeps up to 90 pupils and is offering a fully catered accommodation.

Juniper Hall Field Study Centre is located next to Box Hill in Surrey, with its beautiful scenery and countryside surroundings its a perfect location for your school or educational groups outdoor immersive environmental experiences.

Castle Head Field Centre is located in south Cumbria between the coast of Morecambe Bay and the Lake District National Park. At the centre they can tailor make courses to suit your students key-stage educational needs.

Portland Outdoor Centre is located in two historic Victorian hotels overlooking the picturesque Portland Harbour in Dorset, providing an ideal setting for outdoor educational adventures. Our centre specialises in tailored adventure programs led by experienced instructors, complemented by fully catered residential accommodation for up to 140 guests, making it perfect for schools and educational groups. (Group sizes up to 140).

Blencathra Outdoor Residential Field Study’s Centre is located in the Lake District National Park surrounded by an idyllic 360 panoramic view 300mtrs up a hillside. They can tailor make courses to suit your students key-stage educational needs.

FSC Slapton Ley is located within South Devon close to field sites in Dartmoor National Park and cities such as Plymouth and Torbay. Students can study and experience many outdoor environmental issues in locations from coastal to country and urban areas

Rhyd-y-creuau field study centre is set in the Snowdonia National Park with wooded valleys, rocky shores and beaches to explore. Your students can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biodiversity garden, campfire area and teambuilding challenges.

Nettlecombe Court Field Study Centre is located in a valley at the edge of Exmoor National Park. The country mansion is set within heritage parkland, ancient woodland and is near an SSSI due to its lichen communities, great for Conservation studies.

Dale Fort is set in a spectacular location high on the cliffs within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, perfect for school students and educational groups to experience coastal studies and for accessing Skomer Island with its renowned sea birds.

The Hive (Formerly Suntrap Forest Centre) is an environmental residential centre situated in Epping Forest on the edge of East London. It is perfect for residential school trips of 2-3 nights stay and outdoor residential experiences such as, camping. At The Hive our environmental education offer aligns with the National Curriculum and supports classroom-based learning for all Key stages. (Group sizes up to 64)

Preston Montford Field Study Centre is situated in the heart of Shropshire on the banks of the River Severn with views into Wales. Set in a 12-hectare estate which provides a rich range of habitats, including SSSI for educational groups to experience.

The Sustainability Residential Centre and Lodge Hampshire provides inspiring residential environmental sustainability enrichment experiences for schools and educational groups, all activities are carefully created by our experienced team for your educational needs and include learning objectives, fun, team building and hands-on activities in the outdoors with an eco-theme.
