Plas Menai National Outdoor Residential Centre in Wales offers schools enrichment outdoor and indoor adventure activities including water sports. Much of the YHA hostel network is available for use by groups and schools. We offer both group accommodation that's great for teacher-led residentials as well as complete packages. Unless stated the hostel is bed and board only.

The Long Barn is a traditional barn providing comfortable, affordable and self catering bunkhouse accommodation for up to 31 students and teachers on a residential school trip. Situated on a working organic farm set in beautiful countryside in Capel Dewi, in West Wales, the location is ideal for school trips, outdoor pursuits, and educational field work. Long Barn being only half an hour from the coast that offers beautiful beaches and coastal walks, a school trip here can support key learning skills for students, whilst being fun & adventurous at the same time.    

Stubbers Residential Centre Essex provides your school group or educational visit with endless outdoor adventure activities and residential accommodation. Only minutes away from the M25 and just a short train ride from London.  Stubbers Residential Centre is set up to deliver amazing outdoor pursuits for your pupils or students enrichment and learning experiences.

Hindleap Warren outdoor residential centre is set in 300 acres of ancient woodland in East Sussex and provides outdoor enrichment learning adventure activities and experiences to primary and secondary schools. Residential capacity sleeps 164 young people and 20 leaders which can be split into 5 separate accommodation zones for smaller groups. Hindleap Warren is a fully catered residential centre.  (Group sizes up to 184)

Manor Adventure Norfolk Lakes is located on the edge of the village of Lyng, situated on the River Wensum only 11 miles north west of Norwich.  This outdoor residential centre offers schools absolutely superb accommodation units on either side of a very large indoor facility which offers a wide range of indoor activities, common rooms for teachers and pupils, and dining facilities.

Manor Adventure Lockerbie Manor in Scotland is set amidst 78 acres of tranquil woodland and fields inhabited with an abundance of natural wildlife.  Lockerbie Manor provides school groups with an introduction to outdoor pursuits, with each session lasting one and a half hours. The accommodation has enough space for up to 240 young people.

Located in the picturesque Lakeland town of Keswick, Denton House Hostel Keswick is a refurbished hostel providing the perfect base for your school group's adventures in the Lake District National Park. The place offers hostel style accommodation for your student groups, with nearby access to the River Greta & Derwentwater. (Group sizes 64/68 max plus self catering option)

Located in the New Forest National Park, Avon Tyrrell outdoor residential centre , the UK Youth Outdoor Activity Centre is an established site offering outdoor learning opportunities for all groups including SEN. We are a fully accessible site with adapted facilities and specialised equipment, to ensure all students and educational groups have the same opportunities.  Group accommodation: Manor House Sleeps 20-109 people, Forest Lodges Sleeps 64 people across 7 lodges, Tented Camping 150 people plus leaders. Catering options: Full board, Part Board and Hot Lunches.

Pinkery is Exmoor National Park’s Centre for Outdoor Learning. Built as an upland farmhouse, the original building has been expanded to create a unique moorland off-grid residential centre. located in its own wild moorland valley over 400 metres above sea level valley in the heart of Exmoor's Dark Skies Reserve. Offering 4 dorm accommodation with its own ensuite facilities and sleeps 44 so typically can cater for groups of up to 36 pupils and 8 staff , self-catering or catered kitchen with common room. We welcome groups from Key Stage 1 to University and beyond.
