What does your residential centre offer for school trips
The Coldwell Activity Centre aims to work around you and you may use the centre however you choose. You’ll have exclusive use of the whole building and grounds – we only ever have one group at a time on site.
- Fully-equipped stainless-steel kitchen
- Dining areas:
– Buffet room with serving hatch
– Large conservatory dining room
– Includes accessible toilet with baby changing - Lounge with multiple comfy sofas & smart 50inch TV
- Games room with pool table, table football & piano
- Den area with sofas, table and chairs, electric keyboard & LED multi media connectivity overhead projector (which is also set up to receive Freeview)
- Activity equipment room which includes:
Cricket set, footballs, skateboards, team-building games, orienteering maps, walk maps, ball games & more
- Laundry area that includes:
Washer, dryer, iron, ironing board, drying room with spare wellies & waterproofs
- Conference room with LED multi media connectivity overhead projector (which is also set up to receive Freeview) – Available on request – whiteboard & flipcharts, sound system and amp.

Coldwell is self-catering however we can recommend outdoor caterers at request.
Accessibility & Disabled Facilities
The whole centre is accessible – including lift to the first floor.
Wheelchair accessible wet room with changing bed, shower and toilet chair.
Where possible our activities and providers aim to make it as inclusive as possible.
Some areas have been adapted for SEN use – our woodland has a wheelchair accessible path and the grounds are level with no steps.
Opening times
Coldwell is open all year round including bank holidays, however, due to groups being in we kindly ask for you to arrange an appointment if you wish to visit.
Coldwell staff tend to be in office Monday – Friday 8:30am – 2:30pm however, work from home if / when required.
