Located on the scenic border of Dorset and Somerset, the Magdalen Farm Environmental Centre offers immersive, hands-on day trips across its 132 acres of organic farmland and diverse nature reserves. These visits allow students and groups to engage directly with sustainable agriculture through activities like feeding farm animals, harvesting organic vegetables, and learning about the journey of food from soil to plate. The centre provides a wide array of curriculum-linked programs, ranging from "Survival in the Wild" bushcraft sessions to scientific "river dipping" studies where participants can wade into the shallow River Axe to examine local biodiversity. Sustainability is woven into every experience, often culminating in eco-cooking sessions using outdoor cob ovens and fresh ingredients gathered directly from the sprawling kitchen gardens. Furthermore, Magdalen Farm is widely recognized for its inclusive environment, offering SEN-friendly facilities and specialized staff to ensure that learners of all abilities can safely explore and connect with the natural world.

Located in the New Forest National Park, Avon Tyrrell Outdoor Activity Centre provides school and educational groups fully inclusive outdoor learning opportunities and many fun rewarding activities. We have an extensive list of on-site outdoor pursuits for your educational day trip with experienced instructors with safety and adventure enrichment challenges a top priority for your groups needs.

Rock UK Frontier Centre in Northamptonshire is an outdoor adventure centre and is passionate about developing young students by bringing adventure into learning in the outdoors. The activities are offered all year round to schools and educational groups. (Group sizes 6 to 239)

Set in 22 acres of stunning North Devon countryside, overlooking the Taw and Torridge estuary, Skern Adventure Appledore offers exceptional residential and day experiences for schools and youth groups. For 50 years, we’ve been helping young people build confidence, teamwork and resilience through outdoor adventure and hands-on learning. The centre offers day trips at all levels, from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5.

Educational visits at Suffolk Owl Sanctuary and Nature Centre offer schools and youth groups a tailor-made interactive learning enrichment experiences, making the most of our owl sanctuary and nature centre with various collections to engage your specific group with Birds of Prey, conservation and the natural world. There are National Curriculum linked guided walks, sessions and workshops on a variety of topics, which are all tailored to the groups needs and requirements.

Castle Head Field Centre is located in south Cumbria between the coast of Morecambe Bay and the Lake District National Park. At the centre they can tailor make courses to suit your students key-stage educational needs.

Red Rock outdoor adventure activity centre Exmouth offers educational groups many day trip adventure pursuits, with the main focus on water sports, such as paddle boarding, kayaking, mega sups or surfing and body boarding.  They not only provide exciting school beach days, but also rewarding adventure experiences and outdoor residential trips for students. Broomlee Outdoor Education Centre Scotland is set in 30 acres of land for numerous outdoor activities on site and provides high quality group accommodation with excellent facilities for your school groups. Teachers can choose from a range of exciting adventure or curriculum sessions to build their own school trip which will help students gain life skills through the most rewarding outdoor experiences on a residential school trip.

Join us at DIG and explore our four special in-door excavation pits, all based on real-life digs in the city of York and filled with replica Roman, Viking, Medieval, and Victorian finds. Students can grab a trowel and explore how people lived in the past on this amazing hands-on school trip experience, where history comes to life.

Ackers Outdoor Activity Centre Birmingham provides a fantastic location for schools to experience outdoor adventure, students can experience curriculum linked, teambuilding enrichment activities such as Archery, Kayaking, Orienteering and Bushcraft. Ackers can accommodate from 10 to around 100 students for an activity day.

Boundless Outdoors Bell Heath Residential Centre Stourbridge provides high quality group accommodation with excellent facilities and numerous activities on offer for students of all ages and open to School including Scouts, Girl Guides, Youth Groups and F.E. New Forest Wildlife Park Southampton is located in the New Forest National Park, your educational group and school trip students will enrich their learning and understanding of  Europe’s largest collection of otters, owls, deer, badgers, lynx, mink, polecats, foxes, Scottish wildcats, pine martens, wild boar & many more species of indigenous wildlife.

Lakeside YMCA is hidden within 100 acres of private woodland along the south western shores of Lake Windermere. It is one of the largest outdoor activity centres in Europe, delivering top quality outdoor learning for your students on day trips and residential experiences accommodation comprises of 280 beds in 54 en-suite bedrooms.
