Willen Lake is located in the vibrant and colourful city of Milton Keynes. We see around 850,000 people visit our lake each year to enjoy our green space or take part in activities.

We provide a variety of packages and can cater for all of your trip needs. We pride ourselves on delivering safe, fun, and memorable experiences to all our visitors, whether you are looking for one activity or a full day. Our fantastic location means you can enjoy sessions both on land and on water across many different activities.

Every trip is tailored to the specific needs of the school. We can meet your educational requirements with our sessions which are run by highly trained instructors. We have lots of green space, which can be used for lunches, lawn games, or for teachers to chill out!

Once you are on site, our team will run the day and sort out the organisation of each session. In between sessions, we will need the teachers help to get everybody gathered on time. But apart from that, the teachers can sit back and relax.

We can take from 10 to 400 participants per day, spread out across all of the activities. So, whether you want to bring a team, class, year group, or whole school, you can be sure that we will fit you all in.

We hold AALA, LotC, and RYA accreditations.

We have fourteen activities to choose from – either a full day (3 activity sessions) or a half day (1 activity session).

There are also bespoke packages to suit your individual needs.

We can cater for a maximum of 400 participants and a minimum of 10 participants.

Photography of your group is permitted with the consent of all participants.

Filming will require a licence.

We do not provide copies of our Risk Assessments, as these are technical documents which use industry terminology and may not be fully understood by those without background knowledge.

Our Risk Assessments and operating procedures are inspected by LoTC, AALA, and RYA annually. We encourage you to undertake your own Risk Assessment of the non-activity elements of your trip and you are more than welcome to visit ahead of time to undertake this.

Prices vary depending on activities and group size.

Choose from the Gold, Silver, or Bronze package.

Bookings are priced in groups of 10.

We request that all participants bring clothes and closed toe footwear that they are happy to get wet in, swimwear, and a towel, along with a change of clothes and footwear.

We always have first aid qualified staff on duty.

We have accessible toilets and changing rooms, including a Changing Places facility.

There is lift access to the upper floor, if required.

Please note, most activities require constant use of both arms and legs.

We can be flexible around your needs, but generally, we run our trips between 8.30am and 6pm.

Evening and weekend sessions are also available.
