The South Downs Planetarium and Science Centre was established to provide a facility where people of all ages could learn about science in a very visual and exciting way. Through its colourful displays, demonstrations and presentations in the main auditorium, education room and foyer areas, young people of all ages are introduced to the awe and wonder of the universe around us and are inspired to want to learn more.

Why is white chocolate white, but milk chocolate brown? How are your shoes linked to the rainforest? What is a tenrec? Find the answers to these questions, and many more, as you explore our 4 spectacular glasshouses and 15 acres of flourishing gardens. With over 20 cross-curricular teaching sessions to choose from that are specifically aimed at the different key stages, and all of which link to the National Curriculum, Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses offers an educational visit like no other.

Our workshops are designed to make science fun and exciting for children and help contribute to their understanding of how nature and the world around them works. Each lesson introduces children to a new scientific concept or idea in a simplified way.

British Music Experience in Liverpool, students can immerse themselves into a museum of musical history and knowledge. On this musical school trip, students can discover legendary music memorabilia and get their hands on top quality musical instruments. Your students will learn through funny, interactive Pop Culture workshop, tailored to each Key Stage including SEND too.

Thames Young Mariners is surrounded by 25 acres of public open space, which has been designated as a local nature reserve. Located near London, Thames Young Mariners is the ideal location for London borough schools and organisations to visit. We offer bespoke outdoor experiences and each visit either day or residential school trips for all school ages. (Group sizes up to 90)

English Heritage should be applauded for their development of the Discovery Visit, which interprets the story of a site, giving a sense of time and place to visiting schools. These experiences support the National Curriculum across a wide range of subjects and all key stages.

We The Curious Science Centre Bristol is all about asking questions and testing things out, with two floors full of interactive exhibits, new experience Project What If and the UK’s first 3D Planetarium.  Interactive workshops include Forensic science, Phantom of the Universe: The Hunt for Dark Matter 2D, Experience Psychology, Rainforest Families, DNA Detectives The Hunt For Bigfoot and Brain and Body Students learn about their bodies, using digital microscopes, real x-rays, and turn their classmates inside out!

At Manchester United Football Club Museum & Tour Centre, educational groups can enjoy interactive workshops, a tour of Old Trafford, as well as time for individual learning. The Museum and Tour is designed to support the new National Curriculum.

The outdoor activities are delivered by qualified and highly experienced outdoor education instructors. Whether you book for one day, a week or a weekly programme, our staff will facilitate a structured outdoor experience and engage with your school group to maximise their learning opportunities.
