What does your venue offer for schools?
Our escape room games offer great opportunities for students to undertake challenges as a team in a really fun setting.
All of our seven permanent games are locally themed and highly immersive so players can really involve themselves in their worlds to escape reality and have an adventure.
The challenges themselves vary hugely from small individual puzzles to large games where the whole team needs to get involved. All kinds of skills are required to solve them too ranging from simply being good at spotting things to logic puzzles, word puzzles, number puzzles and all kinds of mental challenges. Organising team members and making connections are essential skills too so there really is something for everyone to get involved with and feel like they’ve achieved something for the team.

What makes you a great choice for educational visits?
The two main things students come away from our escape room game with are a confidence boost and improved team working skills. Winning a game together and knowing each student contributed to the win is a great way to raise their self esteem and help them feel good about themselves. Team work is essential in all of our games but varies enough so even the shyest student can feel part of the team.
Our challenges are so varied everyone can find something they’re good at even if it’s simply finding important items, corralling their team mates or dashing about to speed the team along.
As all of our games are themed around local places or people, there is an educational element too so students get to learn a bit about Brighton and its history while they play.
LOtC quality badge or any other accreditation such as AALA
We have received numerous awards from TripAdvisor due our high rating on the site as well as numerous escape room industry awards for our individual rooms including one of our rooms (Loot the Lanes) being ranked the highest in the UK for three years in a row in the prestigious Top Escape Room Project’s Enthusiasts’ Choice Awards.
In addition, we were awarded Best SME in the Brighton and Hove Business Awards.
What is typically included on your school trip?
Our escape rooms are particularly suitable for key stages 4 and 5 but we do also regularly have teams from years 8 and 9 too.
Although our rooms are more beneficial for building students’ confidence, self esteem and team working skills, they do require some subject specific skills such as maths, English language and science. The historical and local themes of our rooms might be of interest to students of history and geography.
Group sizes
We can take groups of up to 40 students at a time ranging from Year 8 to the Sixth Form. Individual rooms take either 6 or 9 people but, for larger groups, we split groups into different rooms and start the games at the same time.
Do you provide materials and resources?
Our games don’t require any outside knowledge so don’t require any resources.
However, if any schools would like some information around the themes of our rooms for historical/geographical interest, we can provide this on request.
Photography, filming & audio restrictions
Groups are welcome to take photos and videos as long as they don’t film themselves solving the puzzles and post it online
Risk Assessments
We can provide risk assessments on request.
