Much of the YHA hostel network is available for use by groups and schools. We offer both group accommodation that’s great for teacher-led residentials as well as complete packages. Unless stated the hostel is bed and board only.

Manor Adventure Lockerbie Manor in Scotland is set amidst 78 acres of tranquil woodland and fields inhabited with an abundance of natural wildlife.  Lockerbie Manor provides school groups with an introduction to outdoor pursuits, with each session lasting one and a half hours. The accommodation has enough space for up to 240 young people.

A Residential School Trip adventure enrichment learning experience at Cuffley in Hertfordshire, will include superb accommodation, adventurous activities, and a dedicated refectory providing educational groups with an excellent range of freshly cooked meals.

In the warmer months, we can also offer camping for groups, extending our capacity to 66.

X Adventure Development and outdoor activity residential centre Norfolk is situated in a rural setting on a 10 acre site, providing outdoor learning group activities, various facilities and accommodation options for large groups (capacity for 114Max), perfect for a school trip residential or day trip adventure experiences.

Manor Adventure Norfolk Lakes is located on the edge of the village of Lyng, situated on the River Wensum only 11 miles north west of Norwich.  This outdoor residential centre offers schools absolutely superb accommodation units on either side of a very large indoor facility which offers a wide range of indoor activities, common rooms for teachers and pupils, and dining facilities.

University of Leeds Dalehead Outdoor Centre Lake District National Park is Situated in the less frequented Duddon Valley in the south west corner of the Lake District National Park ideal for self programming groups wanting to organise a wide variety of educational and outdoor activities such as field studies.
