English Heritage in the North East aim to promote a greater understanding & enjoyment of the historic environment to educational groups. We offer learning groups FREE ENTRY to 400 + venues, along with free planning visits, property information, useful online resources, and educational facilities.

These workshops are linked to the National Curriculum and suit a wide range of learning styles - encouraging active participation, introducing new vocabulary, and developing enquiry skills. These experiences support the National Curriculum across a wide range of subjects and all key stages.
