This subject is taught at Key stage 1 & 2 of the curriculum but can all of this be taught from a text book. A religious education school trip is perfect for pupils to learn in the outside environment about the historical importance of religion within society and look, feel and see physical buildings that have come to shape because of this subject so why not go and see first-hand abbeys, churches, cathedrals and religious centres shrines and museums.
