These visits allow students and groups to engage directly with sustainable agriculture through activities like feeding farm animals, harvesting organic vegetables, and learning about the journey of food from soil to plate. The centre provides a wide array of curriculum-linked programs, ranging from "Survival in the Wild" bushcraft sessions to scientific "river dipping" studies where participants can wade into the shallow River Axe to examine local biodiversity. Sustainability is woven into every experience, often culminating in eco-cooking sessions using outdoor cob ovens and fresh ingredients gathered directly from the sprawling kitchen gardens. Furthermore, Magdalen Farm is widely recognized for its inclusive environment, offering SEN-friendly facilities and specialized staff to ensure that learners of all abilities can safely explore and connect with the natural world.

The DeanField Outdoor Centre Gloucestershire, offers school groups ages 8 and upwards enrichment residential adventure activity stays. With experienced instructor lead activities such as archery, bushcraft, field studies, orienteering, team building, water sports and lots more! Group size accommodation (99 max) comprising of dorms and ensuite teacher rooms (100+ on day visits). Fully catered or self-catered kitchen available for groups at weekends and in school holidays.

Field Studies Council Bishops Wood is Surrounded by stunning ancient woodland and has a unique, sustainable centre building. Students will experience woodland wildlife including a large pond and several outdoor learning areas. Perfect for Biology/Ecology /green awareness.

Situated on a 10 acre site, Llain Activity Centre Wales provides residential and a wide range of activity packages for schools. Wall climbing, high ropes, zip wire and all kinds of water sports will make school days exciting again. The school trip packages typically include full board accommodation and a full activity programme with day and evening instructor led activities. (Group sizes 12 to 170)

The Wilderness Centre Forest of Dean Gloucestershire offers residential and activity packages for school groups.
