Beaudesert Outdoor Adventures Residentials in Staffordshire offers flexible residential experiences whether you are with us for 1 night or more, with a wide choice of accommodation.

Bring your own tents, use our prebuilt Tented Village, or stay in our Accommodation Buildings. Teachers will have their own rooms and for communal space, we offer separate buildings (Stables, Warren or Haden Lodge), some accommodations have interior communal space, and we have the Cal Day which is dining building with seating for over 100 where food will be served by our catering team. Amenities wise, we have modern toilet and shower facilities located just a short walk away from accommodations and a shop/reception building where you will sign in upon arriving.

Our buildings provide comfortable, practical accommodation designed specifically for groups and each lodge has its own night-time toilet facilities, with additional toilets and showers nearby. To ensure a safe and exclusive experience, every school group is allocated its own accommodation and never shares buildings with another school. Floor plans will be sent out prior in our welcome pack so that you can organise groups/genders prior to arriving.

A wide range of exciting activities are available, including high ropes challenges with Monkey Trees and Jacobs Ladder, Target Sports with Archery and Axe Throwing, Pond Activities between May and September, and our popular Via Ferrata which is set within the historic quarry where you follow a secure metal pathway around the walls with some thrilling elements along the way.

Our residential stays briefly comprise of Accommodation, freshly prepared home-cooked meals served in our on-site dining facilities and a variety of activities determined by the length of stay.

We also offer a variety of day visit programmes, including:

Prior to arriving a welcome pack will be sent out to the lead on which contains important information from ourselves, and space for you to fill out information such as dietary requirements, allergies, medical information, floor plan for accommodation, food choices and FAQs.

Beaudesert has been helping young people discover the outdoors, build confidence and create lifelong memories for generations. With 120 acres of woodland, open space and outdoor activity spaces to explore, we offer plenty of room for young people to escape from technology, connect with people and find their inner confidence. Whether it’s their first residential, a day of team building or an exciting outdoor adventure, every experience is designed to be fun, rewarding and memorable.

We know that organising a trip like this can be a big responsibility with a lot of moving parts and information, so we are here for you from the moment you contact. Call or email and we will gather as much information as we can from you and take the time to understand your group’s needs, numbers, activity choices and talk through the options available to build a bespoke stay that works for you. What we think is key though…Organise a site visit! We will set aside time to show you around the whole site so that you can appreciate the tranquilness of Beaudesert and being in the middle of nature.

Our team genuinely care about what the youths who visit us get out of their stay and creating experiences that inspire, challenge and encourage personal growth. As a charity, our focus isn’t on profit, it’s on making sure the people who come here, leave with great memories.

Upon arrival you will head straight to our reception to let us know you are here and a member of the team will come out to your transport to greet you. You will then divide the kids into the accommodations you have chosen prior using the welcome pack, and have a packed lunch that you will bring with you.

Accommodation – Either Buildings or Tents (Please note bedding is not provided as standard, so bring a sleeping bag and pillow. Teachers’ rooms are set up ready with bedding.

Catering – On arrival, you will bring a packed lunch and then from the evening meal on your arrival day onwards, all meals will be eaten in the Cal Day Dining Area. Hot chocolate and biscuits in the evening are provided around a campfire if requested (and weather permitting) or can be had in Cal Day.  Tea and coffee facilities for teachers in are in all accommodations.

Activities – The activity package starts after lunch on day one and runs up to lunch on the departure day and includes evening activities.

Shopping – Daily access to our shop and reception is available between 9am and 5:30pm, in the case someone is not in the shop as we do go leave to go around the site, there is a number on the door to contact a member of the team.

None, groups may take photos, videos and audio recordings whilst on site. Our social media team may accompany some activities during your stay but will ALWAYS ask for permission before taking media.

All of our risk assessments are audited during our AALA, LOtC, Adventuremark and BAPA inspections and we provide individual copies on request.

An Adventure Activity Day (activities within our Walled Garden) from £35 per person

A Challenge Activity Day (activities including our Quarry and Pond Activities) from £40 per person

A recommended kit list will be provided in your welcome pack. However, an individual copy can be sent prior to your arrival upon request.

We ask visiting groups to provide their own first aider, however all of our activity and reception staff are trained first aiders and first aid kits are available.

• Shop open daily between 9am – 5:30pm selling souveniers, drinks, sweet and savoury snacks, toys and toiletries for the inevitable time you forget something.
• Outdoor Classrooms, BBQ Shelters, Outdoor Seating Areas and Campfire Seating
• Marquees can be erected upon request in advance.
• Toilets and shower blocks separated for Adults, Children and Disabled requirements.

Please discuss when booking your requirements so that we can choose the best accommodation suitable. We HIGHLY recommend a site visit prior to your arrival to ensure you are happy with access routes and our options.

Reception is open 7 days a week 9am to 5pm with a ½ hour break at lunch. We close for Christmas for 2 weeks otherwise we are open all year round.
