English Heritage in the North East aim to promote a greater understanding & enjoyment of the historic environment to educational groups. We offer learning groups FREE ENTRY to 400 + venues, along with free planning visits, property information, useful online resources, and educational facilities.

Argoed Lwyd Outdoor Education Centre Wales delivers fabulous residential school trips where students can take part in a number of challenging adventurous activities to enrich their learning with highly experienced instructors. Your educational group can explore the natural environment that surrounds this educational centre which can accommodate up to 46 people. In the warmer months, we can also offer camping for groups, extending our capacity to 66.

Xplore! Science Discovery Centre in Wrexham, North Wales, offers an exciting blend of education and entertainment for students of all ages. With over 85 hands-on exhibits, thrilling science shows, live family demonstrations, and interactive challenges, there's something to ignite every young mind. Whether you're planning an unforgettable school trip or looking for dynamic outreach activities, Xplore! delivers inspiring, curiosity-driven experiences that bring science to life.

Dunfield House is set in the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire and is offering the perfect place for school day trips where your students can stay in a safe and comfortable environment to learn new outdoors pursuits and also develop new skills while having fun.  With an exciting variety of activities on site and in the local area too, your school groups will have a wonderful time on their residential school trip. The Conway Centre Anglesey is ideally located within 169 acres of National Trust Parkland, providing educational groups with active enrichment school residential activity experiences in the wild outdoors. The Centre accommodates up to 380 students and 55 staff, all in standard dormitory-style accommodation.

Cardiff Residential Centre provides students a taste of capital city life. The hostel is in Cardiff Bay, situated in one of Europe's most exciting arts venues, under the iconic roof of Wales Millennium Centre. This place is perfect for school days out.

Iron Pit Woods Adventure Activity Centre Northamptonshire provides outdoor adventure golf, aerial assault course and zip wire experiences.  The high ropes aerial assault course and zip wire are located above a woodland-themed 18-hole adventure golf course. Independent Family run Outdoor Education centre set in 31 acres of beautiful woodlands on the north Norfolk coast with 2 distinct centres on the one site. The outdoor activity centre provides various adventure activities mainly for primary school groups. Catering is available for residential groups only (day groups need packed lunches). (Group sizes from 8 to 150)

BeWILDerwood Cheshire is a huge outdoor woodland adventure park full of imagination and active play.
