What we offer on our residential school trip
At The Bushcraft Company we believe that unforgettable experiences are created through stepping outside of the norm, forming bonds with friends and personal growth. This is why we deliver meaningful residentials designed to create lasting memories for your students!
What do we do?
- 2 day, 3 day or 5 day residential trips
- Day long experiences
- Year 3 to Year 8
- Amazing woodland locations
- Affordable Real Outdoor Adventures
We understand every group is different. On your own private camping village, just for your group, your adventure is delivered by our fantastic 24-hour Bushcraft team. You will have the same highly passionate and trained staff throughout your entire trip, ensuring we can get to know you and your students and deliver an experience which is perfect for you.
Why do we do it?
Here are some of the many reasons why we have been passionate about delivering real outdoor adventures for over 14 years and are now a leading provider of outdoor education.
- Children spend an average of 4-6 hours a day on screens. Escaping technology, social media and the stresses of the online world, students will improve problem solving skills, communication and teamwork.
- 90% of children who spent time in nature are more likely to experience lower levels of stress and improved well-being
- Children who spend time outdoors are 50% less likely to develop mental health issues. We want to inspire a passion to get outdoors on a regular basis.
- Outdoor learning has been shown to increase attention span by as much as 20% when students return to classroom-based work
- 4 in 5 young people have never slept outdoors. This is a special and exciting experience we think everyone should try at least once in their life!
- We love what we do! Many of our staff live outdoors for the full season, so their knowledge and passion is remarkable!
Our aim is not to just give a taste of adventure, but inspire a lifetime of it!
What makes us a great choice for educational groups
Why choose The Bushcraft Company?
We are not your standard activity centre.
- Hands on for all: All our activities are designed to be hands on for every student at all times. There will be no waiting and watching friends do an activity, we utilize the time having fun!
- 24-hour Bushcraft staff: Our staff are what makes this trip as special as it is. You have the same team from the moment you arrive to the moment you depart ensuring we build good relationships, understand your requirements and deliver the best experience for you. We also deliver all activities and evening entertainment, so school staff can sit back and relax with a cup of our premium coffee!
- Private camping village: There is no interaction with other groups or sharing of facilities. You have your own part of the woodlands, just for your school.
- Environment: Our woodland locations are amazing, providing the perfect setting for a truly immersive and inspiring outdoor adventure.
