At Sealife Adventure, school trips can include optional Key Stage activity packs, allowing teachers to incorporate curriculum-linked learning into the visit alongside the animal experience.
These activity packs are designed for different age groups and include:
- Key Stage 1, 2 & 3:
- KS1- Identifying Animals.
- KS1 – Nutrition and Food chains.
- KS2 – Environment in danger.
- KS2 – Bones and muscles.
- KS2 – Habitats and Adaptations.
- KS3 – Evolution and genetics.

The packs are flexible and can be used during the visit or as part of pre or post-trip classroom work. This allows schools to tailor the day as either a reward trip, an educational visit, or a combination of both.
Group sizes
Sealife Adventure group visits have a minimum of 20 students. Sealife Adventure offers something for everyone. Sealife Adventure can be enjoyed at your own pace, and students are welcome to watch any keeper talks or feeding sessions scheduled throughout the day. Many school groups like to visiting the morning, enjoy activities on the neighboring beach, and then return to the aquarium to continue before their coach departs.
Materials provided
Sealife Adventure provides optional Key Stage activity packs to support curriculum-linked learning during your visit.
These resources have been developed to complement the animal experience and are suitable for use during or after the trip in the classroom.
Key Stage topics include:

- KS2: Endangered Environments, Bones and Muscles, Habitats and Adaptations
- KS3: Evolution and Genetics, Life Cycles and Reproduction
The packs are flexible and can support either structured educational visits or more relaxed reward-based trips, depending on your group’s needs.

No Flash photography is allowed.
Risk assessment
We offer the option of a pre-visit so you can complete your planning in advance. Alternatively, we can provide our health and safety documentation for school and group visits upon request.
Pre-visits can be arranged in advance once a booking has been confirmed, allowing teachers and group leaders to familiarise themselves with the site ahead of their visit.

Teachers: £10 per student (minimum 20 students)
- Nurseries: 1 free teacher place per 1 student
- Primary Schools: 1 free teacher place per 4 students
- Secondary Schools: 1 free teacher place per 8 students
Clothing requirements
All visitors must wear appropriate clothing (including a top, shoes and appropriate bottoms) at all times whilst at the attraction.
First Aid
We have a number of team members with first aid training along with a security member at the zooquarium and an onsite defibrillator. We would also assume schools (as part of their own risk assessment) would bring a qualified member of staff with them on a trip.
Available facilities
We offer a range of facilities including a gift shop and catering outlet serving hot and cold food. There are multiple seating areas throughout the attraction for breaks and dining, as well as conveniently located toilet facilities across the site.
