What does your residential centre offer for school trips

The Countryside Education Trust has been connecting people with the countryside for 50 years.
We are an environmental education charity, based in Beaulieu, right in the New Forest, and we have a wide range of habitats available to us, from forest to coast, heathland to the Beaulieu River. We teach everything from shelter building and bushcraft to regenerative farming, stream studies to climate change, and all ages.
Home Farm is our residential centre, based on a small farm with a very wide range of animals, which visitors help to care for. We can sleep up to 44 visitors at a time on the farm. Our new Fort Climate Centre is also based on the farm, while our Treehouse classrooms sit within our woodland site in private ancient woodland.
Beyond the curriculum, we know that residential visits to the countryside can help with resilience, mental and physical health, and classroom dynamics. We also know that parents and young people post-pandemic can be nervous about coming away and we are very happy to discuss your requirements.
We offer a 3-day residential trip Monday – Wednesday
