High Ashurst Outdoor Education Centre is set in 56 acres of woodland on Box Hill, near Dorking, in the tranquil Surrey Hills 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The outdoor activities are delivered by qualified and highly experienced outdoor education instructors. Whether you book for one day, a week or a weekly programme, our staff will facilitate a structured outdoor experience and engage with your school group to maximise their learning opportunities. The Hunterian Museum London, named after the 18th century surgeon and anatomist John Hunter, includes England’s largest public display of science and human anatomy at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.  Explore the displays and discover exhibition highlights with a focus on object-led and curriculum-linked sessions, the Huntarian Museum welcomes students from secondary schools through to further and higher education.

Offering learning groups FREE ENTRY to 400 + venues, along with free planning visits, property information, useful online resources, and educational facilities. These experiences support the National Curriculum across a wide range of subjects and all key stages.

Countryside Education Trust Residential Centre is located in Beaulieu in the beautiful New Forest, and provides the perfect residential base for all school ages as it is surrounded by a variety of habitats, historic places and opportunities for outdoor adventures. Your school groups will have exciting learning opportunities while experiencing animal welfare first hand. Countryside Education Trust is an ideal spot for adventurous school trips and with a variety of wonderful activities for a brilliant school trip. A packed lunch is required for arrival day and then the evening meal is catered. (Group sizes up to 40).

The National Holocaust Centre and Museum provide an outreach service Nationwide bringing expertise and creativity to provide access to museum collections and testimony of Holocaust survivors. Programmes are fully accessible and SEN inclusive to students.

At the Prison & Police Museum Ripon discover the history of crime & punishment in the Victorian prison, learn the history of policing in Yorkshire from the Anglo-Saxons to the formation of professional policing, perfect historical interactive experience. The learning programme can accommodate groups from Key Stage 1 through to university level.

School visits to Historic Environment Scotland sites are a great way to deliver the curriculum, by encouraging discovery and exploration outside the classroom.
