All trips are designed to fit in with the national history KS1 and 2 curriculum. It highlights Bristol's local history, John Cabot and the discovery of Newfoundland, the famous Bristol pirate Blackbeard, and life on board a Tudor ship. For KS1, the trip focuses on local history and pirates, including the famous Bristol pirate Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard. For KS2, pupils learn more about John Cabot, the discovery of Newfoundland, and life on board a Tudor ship.

Experience the history of the world-famous All England Lawn Tennis Club, better known as Wimbledon, with a themed workshop or lesson, a remarkable and exciting tour of the Grounds and visit to Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum with your students. Your fully facilitated visit offers a fascinating insight into the history, traditions and practices of The Championships Wimbledon.

Portland Outdoor Centre is located in two historic Victorian hotels overlooking the picturesque Portland Harbour in Dorset, providing an ideal setting for outdoor educational adventures. Our centre specialises in tailored adventure programs led by experienced instructors, complemented by fully catered residential accommodation for up to 140 guests, making it perfect for schools and educational groups. Mount Cook Outdoor Residential Adventure Centre in the Peak District Derbyshire, offers schools and educational groups a wide-range of adventure enrichment activities in the great outdoors with many years of experience and highly trained instructors. Accommodation consists of 140 beds across 35 bedrooms with ensuite shower room, plus glamping pods to sleep 40. (Group sizes up to 180)

Much of the YHA hostel network is available for use by groups and schools. We offer both group accommodation that's great for teacher-led residentials as well as complete packages. Unless stated the hostel is bed and board only.

Lullingstone Roman Villa is one of the most important and complete Roman villas in Britain. It is home to some outstanding mosaics and an extensive range of collections and activities for learning.

Tudor World is an award winning museum situated right in the heart of the historic town, Stratford upon Avon. Within a Grade 2* listed historic building, the museum depicts the different aspects of Tudor life from plague to punishment. Each school is unique and the guides tailor their performance to each school. There are workshops on the Army, Elizabethan Theatre, Shakespeare Tours of the Town (Anne or William Shakespeare themed guide), and the favourite of the children – Crime and Punishment.

Freshwater Bay provides school groups with a 2 hour guided coasteering adventure around the stunning Freshwater Bay, offering a new exhilarating outdoor activity for students to the Isle of Wight. Coasteering is an adventure sport that treats the natural environment as a giant eco playground and is frequently used as a reward trip for school groups.

Castle Head Field Centre is located in south Cumbria between the coast of Morecambe Bay and the Lake District National Park. At the centre they can tailor make courses to suit your students key-stage educational needs.
