Much of the YHA hostel network is available for use by groups and schools. We offer both group accommodation that’s great for teacher-led residentials as well as complete packages. Unless stated the hostel is bed and board only.

Oaker Wood Residential Centre in Herefordshire offers exciting and adventurous residential school trips for all ages and is a brilliant option for residential school groups to stay in a beautiful rural environment. School trips to Oaker Wood offer children the opportunity to connect with nature and develop important life skills. Groups can be self catered, partly catered, or fully catered. (Group sizes up to 148)

Hindleap Warren outdoor residential centre is set in 300 acres of ancient woodland in East Sussex and provides outdoor enrichment learning adventure activities and experiences to primary and secondary schools. Residential capacity sleeps 164 young people and 20 leaders which can be split into 5 separate accommodation zones for smaller groups. Hindleap Warren is a fully catered residential centre.  (Group sizes up to 184)

Mendip Activity Centre Somerset is an outstanding outdoor activity centre in a wonderful countryside setting, offering exciting, fun filled school enrichment and team building activity adventures. Mendip is the ultimate adventure playground in the heart of the Mendip Hills located in the South West, where your students will have a fantastic day out.

Roadford Lake Residential Centre Devon is the perfect residential school trip for any classes looking to take part in some adventurous outdoor activities.  Surrounded by countryside and beautiful scenery, Roadford Lake is the perfect location for your next school trip.

Henley Fort is a Victorian Fort built during the late 19th Century to protect London from invasion by the French; later it was used by the Home Guard in World War 2 as a re-supply depot. In the 9th Century it was to protect London from invasion by the French; later it was used by the Home Guard in World War 2 as a re-supply depot. It is now an outdoor education facility offering groups a chance to take part in challenging activities or a living historical experience. We are open seven days a week, all year round for both day and residential visits, perfect for all school ages. (Group sizes up to 100)

Red Rock outdoor residential centre Exmouth offers multi activity residential adventure experiences including water sports with overnight village camping accommodation providing a perfect place for a memorable residential school trip. Offering quality accommodation (max size 250) for educational groups at affordable prices with experienced instructors with safety as a priority.

Manor Adventure Willersley Castle residential outdoor centre in Derbyshire, provides educational students with enrichment learning through valuable life skills and challenges, that are rewarding and stimulating courses.  Manor Adventure provides a safe and secure environment for students of all ages to enjoy outdoor pursuits instructed by experienced activity professionals.

Mount Cook Outdoor Residential Adventure Centre in the Peak District Derbyshire, offers schools and educational groups a wide-range of adventure enrichment activities in the great outdoors with many years of experience and highly trained instructors. Accommodation consists of 140 beds across 35 bedrooms with ensuite shower room, plus glamping pods to sleep 40. (Group sizes up to 180)

Conway Centre Delamere Cheshire is located in the heart of Delamere Forest. The Forest environment allows for activities such as orienteering, den building, survival skills, stream dipping, and environmental games. Accommodation comprises of 32 students and 10 staff, with 2 dormitories for students and 3 separate rooms for staff.

Ghyll Head Residential Outdoor Education and Activity Centre is located in the heart of the Lake District National Park, Cumbria and provides enrichment and adventure activity courses for schools and educational groups.  Students will experience authentic outdoor adventure and team building activities lead by highly experienced instructors.  Group accommodation from a minimum of 12 and up to 72 for activity courses.
