Bentley Copse Residential Activity Centre Surrey

Bentley Copse residential activity centre is located in the heart of the Surrey Hills providing a quiet rural environment for students to have a fun learning enrichment experience away from traffic noise and flight paths. We do not host multiple school residentials at the same time giving you a relaxing woodland experience with activities based in the trees of our ancient protected woodland.

Our trips are full bespoke and often combine a packed activity schedule with a relaxed flexibility of some downtime. These options can give students the opportunities to revisit favorite activities or locations and for secondary school students or simply time to relax and socialise under the shades of our ancient oaks.

We have three options :

1) for groups of 36

2) Up to 100 students

3) Much larger groups, EG 250

We typically operate activities in groups of 12.

Small groups : Bunk rooms sleeping between 6 and 18 students

Larger groups : Bunk rooms or canvas bell tents

Three-day residential packages including catering and ten activities are generally £200 per student.

All packages are fully bespoke and will be configured to meet the aims of the school and to remain within their budget. Discounts are available for bookings away from peak periods.
One adult is free per 12 students.

Everything is bespoke and priced on what is being delivered.

All our staff are trained in outdoor first aid. Each school should provide a first aider to cover periods when they are not with our staff.

In the heart of the Surrey Hills between the extensive wild woodland of the Hurt Wood and Winterfold Forest – locations that have seen the release of velociraptors in the Jurassic World movies, crashed spaceships and battle scenes in Star Wars Andor and even the arduous trek to the castle in Beauty and the Beast

With a history of hosting young people on their adventures for over 100 years Bentley Copse provides a “best of both worlds” experience that combines the tranquility of a forest environment together with dozens of engaging activities and workshops to meet the aims of your trip.
