What does your adventure activity centre offer on a school trip
Stubbers Adventure Centre is located at the very edge of North East London convenient for the M25 and links to London.
Our 130 acre estate includes lakes, woodland, coffee shop and a fantastic Adventure Park which will please energetic children of all ages.
The range of adventure activities on offer covers watersports, target shooting and towers activities as well as an excellent range of team challenge activities.
Our experienced team is committed to providing excellent customer service and will ensure that students of all ages and abilities have the most beneficial and memorable adventure experience.
Stubbers is the perfect venue for your school or youth group’s adventure activity day trip. Our standard day includes four different activities from our Watersports, Towers, Targets, and Team building zones. Our 130 acre estate has woodland, a hill and three large lakes add to the country park vibe with the family feel of a community based leisure provision. Visitors are amazed that such a place can be so close to London with red buses even stopping a our entrance gate!

Our activity instructors are well trained, experienced and will go out of their way to ensure that your adventurers feel welcome, are fully engaged, overcome challenges and generally have the most fantastic and memorable day out. We believe in optimising the amount of time adventurers are active by ensuring that equipment and activity areas minimize waiting time and maximise engagement and learning. Our activity resources are excellent and set up to easily manage large groups.

What is typically included on your school trips
- Multi Activity Days: Features 4 x adventure activities from Watersports, Targets, Towers and team build zones
- Team Build Days: Features two or more of our team build and communication activities plus two other adventure activities with team work and cooperation at their core.
- Winter Warmers: Special discounted days that make the most of the winter darker days focusing on our indoor and floodlit activity choices
Sport and Leisure Curriculum: Certified courses in Climbing, Sailing and Paddle Sports
Group sizes
Ideal for ages 9 plus although we are happy to design programmes suitable for age 5 ½ to 8 years. Maximum 1 instructor to 12 adventurers. Adventurers with special needs can be put into smaller groups.

Photography and filming of your own group are permitted.

Pricing
- £ 51 per adventurer per day
- Off season rates from £ 34 per adventurer per day
- Recommended 1 member of staff to 12 adventurers. Teacher / Leaders may participate in activities free of charge where adventurer to instructor ratios permit.
Clothing requirements
- Wear old warm clothing (layers are best)
- No open toe shoes or flip flops
- Footwear that can get wet for water activities
- Recommend at least one full change of clothing including footwear.
First Aid
All Stubbers staff are first aid trained. There is a dedicated first aid room on site.
Available facilities
- A picnic shelter is provided for the exclusive use of your group throughout the day
- The “Snack Shack” can be open on request for sale of ice cream, sweets, cold drinks and merchandise
- Recommend bringing some form of card payment system such as “Go Henry”
- Over lunch time your group is free to enjoy our excellent and large play park which is suitable for all ages (including teachers!)
Accessibility & disabled facilities
Most activities are accessible and have specialist equipment for adventurers with disabilities. Although the climbing and high ropes tower stair way is not accessible we have specialist equipment and trained staff to to ensure that less mobile adventurers are still able to enjoy the towers experience
