As well as Skiing and Snowboarding tuition, we have a range of outdoor alpine activities to choose from. Our Ringo/Tubing activity is a fantastic team building exercise, thanks to the thrill of spinning down our bespoke Ringo slopes in a race to the bottom!

You don’t even need to hit the slopes to have a great day out at Snowtrax, thanks to the Alpine Adventure Park, kids can experience a safe and secluded alpine tree setting full of trampolines, swings, Adventure trail, a huge fort and a life-sized Pirate Ship!

Snowtrax is one of the best outdoor Ski and Snowboard training facilities in the UK, thanks to our special Proslope ski surface and experienced qualified instructors. Unlike traditional outdoor centres, our synthetic ski surface is faster, safer and closer to real snow than any other synthetic surface! Snowtrax is also very competitively priced to attend, meaning a School or kids group could experience multiple ski lessons, Ringo sessions or alpine adventure park visits, for much cheaper than the indoor real snow alternative options.

One of the reasons our customers visit Snowtrax time-after-time, is because you experience alpine sports in the real outdoors, as it was always intended. Learn to ski, spin in a Ringo or play in the park surrounded by alpine inspired woodland, in the fresh air!

At Snowtrax we are able to tailor school trips to your needs. We can arrange a special price, based on the numbers of children attending and the activities you want to take part in.

Equipment and protection is provided for all activities when needed, and special instruction is provided for both our Skiing and Snowboarding tuition and Ringo team building activities.

Group sizes depend entirely on the activities you want to take part in, but we can cater for large groups easily, through a bespoke booking. Ski and Snowboard lessons at Snowtrax are usually from 5-12 children per Snowtrax instructor, but multiple instructors can be booked or we can arrange multiple sessions to accommodate large bookings. Ringo tubing activity is up to 36 people per 30 min session (two groups of up to 18). The Alpine Adventure park is able to accommodate a huge number of children, usually between 1-100.

Snowtrax Alpine Activity Centre is an outdoor facility. This means that clothes appropriate for the weather that will be experienced on that day are advised. Activities go ahead whatever the weather. Long sleeves and full-length trouser legs are required for skiing and snowboard tuition.

All our Ski and Snowboard instructors are first aid trained, and our reception team can assist with minor injuries that happen during an activity. We have a first aid room on site.

Disabled toilets provided, and the centre is wheelchair accessible. Attendees with certain physical disabilities or cognitive and visual impairments will likely need to be accompanied by a carer or assistant. We do not have SEN staff on site.

Snowtrax is open 7 days a week for 360 days a year. We can accommodate bookings for almost any day/month. Our usual opening hours are between 9am and 10pm.
