Testimonials
“I have had dealings with this company providing bushcraft and camping facilities for young people in Dorset. It is always a worry about the care that is given to children away from home, and this is one company with proper family values. You get a real sense that you can trust them as they respond at a very human level, whilst maintaining a totally professional approach. Bravo Cumulus, I'm impressed!”
"Fantastic provider for NCS."
"Thanks to Sam and the whole team at Cumulus for providing another fantastic summer of activities and base camp support to our National Citizen Service participants. With a professional and effective set up at the campsite, our young people were comfortable and fed very well during the week. They also had a great time trying the activities including coasteering and climbing at the beautiful Dancing Ledge, raft building and kayaking. We are very much looking forward to returning in September and next summer. Thank you."
"It is always nice to have confidence in an outdoor provider. Cumulus is a well structured organisation that delivers great learning for young people in a safe and managed way. Sessions are structured and informative and Safety is paramount. What sets them aside from other providers is that nothing is too difficult. If there is an issue or a problem you just have to ask and something is done about it. Like all these things you need to communicate, and Cumulus do. I always find that people complain if there is an issue, the question should be asked of these people have you spoken to the provider about it? If they do with Cumulus things are sorted out. I have the confidence to rebook with Cumulus Outdoors, knowing I will get a business that wants to make things work."
"The camp was a great success, all our students had a great time and gained much from the experience. The staff and instructors were very caring towards the students particularly when they were ill and also dealt with behavioural discipline issues in a consistent manner.
The camp ran well, it seemed very well organised with timings feeling just right with no one getting rushed but moving activities on if attention was waining. There was also great flexibility and adaptiveness with situations outside of campcontrol with an excellent Plan B when weather prevented coasteering! Great attention to detail especially with dietary requirements. Thank you!"
