Jurassic Watersports is a Dorset based outdoor adventure activity provider, owned, operated and managed by true outdoor professionals, who are passionate about what they do.

We are a provider of Coasteering, Climbing,  Kayaking and other adventure activities, as well as of course, Duke Of Edinburgh Expeditions!

We can offer a variety of activity programmes, including stand alone activities, activity days, residential packages and activity clubs.

We are also to be accredited by LOTC and can work with you to design a programme that helps enrich your delivery of curriculum based learning outside the classroom.

The Jurassic Watersports Team have a combined experience of over 40 years of delivering a range of Adventure Activities and Outdoor Education programmes to a variety of schools and groups.

We offer a range of programmes that can be tailored to suit any of your requirements, whether you are looking to book a school residential package, activity day, after school activity programmes, extra curricular activities or arrange your school DofE expeditions, Jurassic Watersports is here to help!

First of all, it’s important to know that we have one of the most experienced teams of instructors in the area. Every member of our team has been delivering adventure activities for years, we don’t use apprentices or newly qualified “accelerated instructor” candidates. Our team will always work with you to ensure we deliver exactly what you’re looking for. We are licenced and accredited by a whole range of excellent organisations that ensure what we deliver is only the very best of experiences, delivered to the highest of standards and maintaining the highest level of safety.

We are licensed and accredited by AALA, LOTC, AAIAC & NCC.

Our activities as standard will teach students new skills and encourage them to develop confidence, responsibility, communication and independence. Our activities are also a perfect fit to aid Geography and Geology studies outside the classroom.

We recommend groups between 10 – 30 participants. However we can cater for groups of 60/70+ on our programmes. We would suggest our activities are better suited to students of 11+ (year 6 leavers onwards).

We aim to capture professional standard photos and videos on all activity groups where we can. Copies of anything we take will always be made available for the group leader.

We will provide copies of all risk assessments, licences and insurance documents to all groups at time of booking.

We provide tailored quotes to all customers once we have agreed on their programme. Prices for half day activities start at £25.00pp+VAT, with full days starting at £37.50pp+VAT. Residential programmes are quoted based on the programme you require. Prices on all programmes vary based on type of programme, duration and number of students

We provide all PPE such as Wetsuits, Buoyancy Aids & Helmets. We will provide you with a list of required clothing and equipment prior to your activity with us.

All of our staff are advanced first aid qualified, at all times on activity our team will have extensive first aid kits available.

Facilities vary depending on activities and the type of programme you are booking.

Some of our activity locations have easy disabled access and toilet/changing facilities. Please ask our team to discuss this during booking.

We operate 12 months of the year. Residential packages can offer round the clock programmes. Our day activities usually take place between 0800 and 1700, however we can adjust these times to suit you.
