Geology

Reset

Geology is a subject that students learn about all the way from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5. Students can choose to study it in detail at A Level or GCSE level, but it is also taught when it overlaps with subjects such as science and geography. While studying these topics, pupils and students will gain a scientific insight into the natural environment and develop an understanding and appreciation of landscape and scenery. Pupils will also have the opportunity to address various environmental and sustainability issues. As well as this, students can choose to develop their understanding further by looking at the geological processes that occur at and below the Earth’s surface and the various uses of geological materials. Geology school trips introduce students to the wonders of geology!
