Croft Farm Waterpark, located in the picturesque Cotswolds near Tewkesbury, offers an exceptional setting for school groups. This dedicated water sports centre features a 12-acre lake and easy access to the River Avon, providing a wide range of water-based activities such as sailing, paddleboarding, windsurfing, canoeing, and kayaking. All activities are conducted under expert guidance with equipment designed specifically for juniors. The centre also offers land-based activities, an adventure playground, and comfortable timber lakeside café for adults to relax and watch the activities. With purpose-built Scandinavian style heated log cabins and 24-hour JCA staffing, Croft Farm ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Croft Farm Waterpark is an ideal choice for educational visits due to its unique combination of water-based and land-based activities. The centre offers expert tuition through an approved Royal Yachting Association, ensuring high-quality instruction and safety. The specially designed junior equipment helps students quickly develop skills and confidence on the water. The secure lakeside location, with 24-hour staffing and comprehensive safety measures, provides a safe environment for students to explore and learn. The comfortable accommodation and excellent facilities, including a lakeside café and adventure playground, make it a versatile and engaging destination for school trips.

Croft Farm Waterpark holds the LOtC (Learning Outside the Classroom) Quality Badge, Adventuremark and BAPA accredited. The watersports provision is accredited by AALS (Adventure Activities Licensing Scheme).

Our school trips at Croft Farm are tailored to meet the specific needs of each group, with activities designed to align with various Key Stages. For Key Stage 2, activities focus on teamwork, problem-solving, and physical challenges. For Key Stage 3 and 4, the emphasis is on leadership, resilience, and advanced skills development.

Activity groups can be up to 15 students, with a typical instructor-to-child ratio of 1:12. We cater to primary and secondary school groups, and specific age ranges may be required for certain activities to ensure safety and appropriateness.

Currently, we do not provide specific materials and resources linked to the curriculum or key stages. Our focus is on delivering hands-on, experiential learning through our wide range of activities. We believe that the immersive experiences at Croft Farm, guided by our trained instructors, provide valuable learning opportunities that complement classroom education. However, we are always open to collaborating with teachers to tailor activities to meet specific educational goals and curriculum requirements.

Groups are authorised to take photographs, film, and audio recordings during their visit of their own group provided they meet the policies of their school. However, we request that any media captured is used respectfully and in accordance with our safeguarding policies. 

We provide comprehensive risk assessments for all activities and facilities at Croft Farm. These assessments are available for teachers to review prior to their visit. Our risk assessments cover all aspects of safety, including activity-specific risks, site security, and emergency procedures.

Our pricing structure varies depending on the type of visit and the age group. Prices are typically broken down per child, with discounts available for larger groups. Yes, specific clothing is required for certain activities to ensure safety. This includes comfortable outdoor clothing, sturdy footwear, swimwear for water-based activities, and weather-appropriate gear. A detailed clothing list will be provided upon booking.

We have a first aid station on site, and our instructing staff are first aid trained. Groups do not need to bring a qualified first aider, but it is recommended. Our staff are equipped to handle minor injuries and emergencies.
