Students explore the science of space travel while learning how immersive XR technology works, how digital environments are built, and how real-world physics connects to virtual worlds.
Eternal Tang Dynasty XR – History & Cultural Studies
Students step inside an ancient civilisation to explore culture, architecture and storytelling through immersive reconstruction.
Alice in Wonderland XR – Literacy & Creative Writing

Group sizes
We operate a structured group rotation system designed for school visits.
- Maximum 20 students per 30-minute session
- Maximum 40 students per hour (two consecutive sessions)
- Larger year groups can be accommodated through scheduled rotations
Recommended age ranges:
- Early Years / Pre-School (3–5 years) – Selected adapted sessions only
- Primary (5–11 years) – Fully suitable
- Secondary (11–16 years) – Fully suitable
All sessions are fully guided and managed by trained facilitators to ensure safety, engagement and age-appropriate delivery.
For larger groups, we can stagger arrival times and rotate classes efficiently within the school day.

Risk assessment
Immersia XR Walking Theatre operates under a structured and documented risk management process designed specifically for group visits.
We provide:
- Full written risk assessments (RAMS) available to schools in advance of their visit
- Public liability insurance documentation upon request
- DBS-checked staff
- Trained facilitators supervising all sessions
- Pre-session safety briefing for all students
- Controlled group flow with fixed capacity limits (20 per session)
- Staff monitoring throughout the immersive experience
Additional safety measures include:
- Clearly marked entry and exit routes
- Staff positioned throughout the experience space
- Immediate headset removal procedure if required
- Age-appropriate supervision guidelines
- First aid trained staff on site
Schools are encouraged to complete their own visit risk assessment, and we are happy to provide all supporting documentation in advance.

Pricing
Immersia XR Walking Theatre offers a dedicated weekday educational group rate.
£14 per pupil
Includes access to two immersive XR story experiences within a one-hour structured session.
Maximum capacity: 20 pupils per hour
Minimum group size: 20 pupils
1 supervising adult FREE per 8 pupils.
Additional adults £8 each.
For groups larger than 20 pupils, consecutive hourly sessions may be booked.
Clothing requirements
It’s indoors, no special requirement for cloth.
First Aid
Immersia XR Walking Theatre has first aid procedures in place for all group visits.
- Trained first aid personnel are present on site during all sessions
- A stocked first aid kit is available at all times
- Clear incident reporting procedures are followed if required
- Staff are trained to respond quickly to minor issues such as dizziness or motion sensitivity
Schools are welcome to bring their own qualified first aider if required by their internal policy, but this is not mandatory as trained staff are on site.

On-site and nearby facilities include:
- Toilet facilities within The Sidings complex
- Cafés and food outlets
- Supermarket and convenience stores
- Indoor seating areas within the shopping area
- Easy group access and organised check-in
Packed lunches:
While we do not have a private dining room, schools may use public seating areas within The Sidings or arrange alternative lunch plans nearby.
Pocket money:
Not required.
If pupils wish to purchase optional merchandise, £5–£10 is sufficient.
There are no wet rooms or changing facilities.
The venue location allows schools to combine the visit with other nearby educational or cultural activities if desired.

We are DDA compliant.
