Buddens Activity Centre Dorset

Buddens Activity Centre lies in the heart of the historic and beautiful Isle of Purbeck and Jurassic Coast, boasting 96 acres of natural countryside, heathland, woodland and plantations. School groups will have the opportunity to explore the natural environment and take part in a once in a lifetime activity programme in a stunning setting.

At Buddens we offer a wide range of land based and water based activities like axe throwing, climbing, paddleboarding, kayaking and so much more.

There is plenty of scope for young people to display leadership, teamwork, resilience and passion. Equally, the beautiful surrounds of Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Studland Beach, make it ideally located for a curriculum-led Geography or Science trip.

Our flexible learning programme – full day, half day or 2-hour sessions are aimed at enhancing relationships, improving communication and developing valuable new skills as well as being fun!

At Buddens we work on group sizes of 1:12 and can have up to 384 students on site at anytime!

None. We encourage groups to take photos and videos and share this where possible.

We provide up to date risk assessments for all centers and activities that we review yearly based on the previous seasons experience.

A full kit list is sent out to schools before arrival onsite so schools are aware of exactly what is required.

We have a first aid station at each center and all our staff are first aid trained to ensure the upmost safety on and off activities.
