What makes you a great choice for educational visits
Adventure Parc offers schools an exciting opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom, combining adventure, outdoor education, teamwork and exploration in the heart of the Conwy Valley.
With a range of activities available, schools can build a programme around their group and learning objectives. From guided hikes through the stunning Snowdonia (Eryri) landscape and gorge walking, to climbing, high ropes, indoor caving, Ninja Assault, the Leap of Faith and other on-site challenges, there is something to challenge and engage every student. Our activities encourage communication, resilience, problem-solving, confidence and teamwork, all while giving students the chance to experience the outdoors in a completely different way.
Adventure Parc is also an ideal base for residential trips, with comfortable, no-frills camping pods available on site. Groups can stay together, enjoy evening activities and make the most of their time in North Wales without the need to travel between accommodation and activities.
Food is also taken care of, with on-site options available to keep students and teachers fuelled throughout their visit. From café options and light lunches to more substantial meals at The Hub, we can help make the whole experience as straightforward as possible for teachers and group leaders.
There is also an opportunity to bring local history and geography into the experience. Adventure Parc sits on a site with a fascinating industrial past, having originally been home to the Dolgarrog Aluminium Factory in the 1920s. Combined with the surrounding mountains, rivers, valleys and wider landscape of Eryri, the location provides a natural setting for learning about the history and environment of North Wales.
With qualified instructors, comprehensive risk assessments, indoor activities for all-weather reliability, on-site accommodation, food and a huge variety of adventure experiences, Adventure Parc gives schools everything they need for an action-packed and memorable educational visit.
Adventure Parc is more than a day out it’s an opportunity for students to learn, explore, challenge themselves and create memories together in the heart of North Wales.
What is typically included on your school trips relating to Key Stage or Curriculum Topic info
Our school trips are designed around adventure, outdoor learning and shared experiences, giving students the opportunity to step away from the classroom and experience the incredible surroundings of the Conwy Valley.
A typical visit can include a mixture of guided hikes, gorge walking and instructor-led outdoor adventures, alongside our extensive range of on-site activities. Students can challenge themselves on the High Ropes, Adventure Climb, Indoor Caving, Ninja Assault Course and Leap of Faith, with activities selected to suit the age, ability and objectives of each group.
Our programmes naturally support areas such as teamwork, communication, resilience, confidence, problem-solving and physical development, while allowing students to learn through doing and challenging themselves in a safe, supportive environment.
For residential visits, groups can stay together in our on-site camping pods, providing a relaxed and informal environment where students can continue their experience outside of activity sessions. With food and refreshments available on site, including our café and The Hub, we can also make the practical side of a residential trip as straightforward as possible for teachers and group leaders.
Above all, our school trips are about getting students outdoors, trying something new and creating shared memories. Whether they’re navigating a mountain trail, tackling a gorge, conquering the high ropes or simply enjoying time together around the pods, Adventure Parc offers a relaxed setting where students can learn, grow and have fun.
