West End On Demand offers exciting, practical theatre and musical theatre workshops for schools, colleges, universities and performing arts groups, led by professional West End performers and industry creatives.

Groups can join us in professional rehearsal studios in central London, making a workshop the perfect addition to a West End theatre trip, or we can bring the West End directly to your school or venue anywhere in the UK or beyond.

Our workshops are tailored to the age, experience and interests of each group, with options including:

• Musical Theatre Workshops: Explore singing, acting and choreography inspired by popular West End productions.
• West End Dance Workshops: Learn choreography and develop performance skills with professional West End performers.
• Acting & Drama Workshops: Develop characterisation, improvisation, storytelling, script work and acting techniques. From Shakespeare and comedy acting to exploring different performance styles and acting methods, workshops can be tailored to your group’s interests and learning objectives.
• Stage Combat Workshops: Explore performance-based stage combat techniques under professional guidance.
• Singing & Vocal Workshops: Develop vocal technique, musical interpretation and performance confidence.
• Bespoke Theatre Workshops: Workshops designed around a particular production, curriculum topic or the group’s training objectives.

Sessions can be arranged as individual workshops, half-day or full-day experiences, or as part of a longer programme such as our 3, 4 or 5 day West End Experience in London which includes tickets to a West End show.  We can also help schools and educational groups arrange West End theatre tickets and selected behind-the-scenes experiences, making it easy to combine professional workshops with a memorable London theatre visit.

We work with groups of varying sizes, from smaller specialist performing arts groups to larger school and college cohorts.

Workshop arrangements, practitioner numbers and venue requirements are tailored to the group size and activities selected. Please contact us with your expected student numbers so we can recommend the most suitable format.

Our workshops can be tailored to complement drama, music, dance and performing arts studies, including GCSE, A-level, BTEC and higher education programmes.

We can work with teachers and group leaders to focus on particular productions, performance techniques, themes or learning objectives.

Photography and filming permissions are considered on a workshop-by-workshop basis, depending on the production and material being covered.

We generally welcome photographs and short clips for personal use and social media, including Reels, where permitted. However, due to copyright and licensing restrictions, filming or sharing extended sections of choreography, musical numbers or other protected material may not be allowed. Certain productions may have additional restrictions, including how the production is referenced publicly.

We will advise groups of any specific photography, filming or social media restrictions applicable to their workshop in advance.

London Workshops

– 1-hour workshop: £13.50 per student + VAT (minimum workshop charge £270 + VAT).

– 2-hour workshop: £19.50 per student + VAT (minimum workshop charge £390 + VAT).

Additional charges may apply for certain specialist workshops or studio requirements.

Workshops at Your School or Venue

– Half-day workshop: From £400 + VAT.

– Full-day workshop: From £650 + VAT.

Additional travel, accommodation or specialist practitioner costs may apply depending on location and requirements.

Our workshop practitioners are not generally first aid trained. For workshops delivered at schools or external venues, first aid provision remains the responsibility of the school or hosting venue.

Our London workshops take place in professional rehearsal studios in central London.

We also offer visiting workshops at schools, colleges and other suitable venues throughout the UK, subject to practitioner availability and travel arrangements.

Workshops are available throughout the year by advance booking, including weekdays and weekends.

West End Academy (Ages 16+)

Our flagship summer musical theatre programme offers one, two or three weeks of intensive training in London with professional West End performers and creatives.

West End Junior Academy (Ages 10–16)

Our Junior Academy takes place at the Dominion Theatre in London’s West End, offering an exciting week of musical theatre training culminating in a studio showcase.
