Sandbox VR is the world’s most advanced virtual reality venue on the planet. Located in the Grand Central Shopping Centre in the heart of Birmingham, it features 6 virtual reality arenas where you can transport yourselves into the most immersive gaming experience imaginable.

Each of the 8 experiences available combines full-body motion capture and high-quality haptics to provide unprecedented realism that’s not possible with home VR systems or other location-based VR venues. Groups of up to six can transport themselves into their own action movie, freely roaming the VR space as they enter exclusive virtual worlds and rely on each other to succeed in games specifically designed for interaction, problem solving abilities and teamwork. Unique, active, something totally out of this world.

Our unique experience is only available within SandBoxVR venues. Within the venue we also have a fully operational Robot bar tender the first of it’s kind in the uk. SandBoxVR is truly a glimpse into the future.

We’re perfect for ages 8+ with a variety of different options depending on the age of the guests. The teachers will also love it. Our Experience is perfect for team building.

No restrictions filming and photography within the venue. We’ll also provide an after movie for every experience.

Comfortable clothing recommended with sensible footwear recommended.

First aid kits throughout venue with qualified first aiders on site.

Toilets, Large amount of seating in the venue, however not designated space to eat packed lunch could easily be consumed in the venue. Drinks can be purchased from both human and robot bars, please note we are a cashless venue.

Venue is wheelchair accessible with one disabled toilet. Large groups of children with disability’s would have to be disclosed in advance to allow for appropriate staffing.
