For those looking to add a curriculum workshop, Paultons Park offers a wide range of subjects focused on achieving National Curriculum criteria. Our completely unique classroom, Professor Blast’s Learning Lab, is an immersive environment designed to ignite curiosity. Have ‘close encounters’ with a range of fascinating animals in our biology sessions – ideal for Foundation and KS1. Our highly popular and practical ‘Rollercoaster Forces’ and ‘Ride Programming’ sessions are specifically designed for first hand experiences with KS2 students, with several new and updated workshops ready to be booked for KS2 groups also. For KS3 students we specialise in the real-life application of Maths and Computing, offering sessions on statistics, speed and technology. Provision for KS4, which benefits coursework projects, includes marketing, customer service and business workshops. Paultons Park is experienced in hosting large volumes of school trips and offers free on-site parking.

Paultons is home to over 70 rides, attractions and animals, set in 140 acres of beautiful gardens. With a wide selection of engaging workshops that can enable students to see their learning in a practical and applied context, it’s the perfect place for the best school trip ever!

Educational visits at Paultons Park can be tailored to meet the requirements of each school. Typically, park-led groups are met by our teaching staff at an allotted time and location. Most workshops are supported by stimulating worksheets which can either be completed during the workshop, or back in school as a follow up. Our workshops are run by experienced staff who are able to adapt their teaching style to suit the needs of learners. We run a fabulous mix of workshops, all based around the National Curriculum. Professor Blast’s Laboratory is a stunning venue for a session based on physics, animals or ICT. For older students, we run a range or presentations – great for business or tourism courses. These range from customer service, marketing to a general Paultons overview and case study of Paultons Park. 

We cater for any group size – but require at least 12 paying students to access our special education rates. Smaller group sizes can be accommodated on request. Please contact for details.

All of our workshops link to the National Curriculum. They were designed by teachers, and learning objectives / curriculum links are available on our website. Copies of all materials are available to teachers on request. Our education pack contains all necessary information including risk assessments.

We actively encourage children to take photos, videos and audios as a reminder of their day.

Encourage students to dress for the weather. We recommend identifiable T-shirts / jumpers (school colours) and trainers. Hats can be left at ride platforms as these may come loose on the faster rides. Due to the nature of some of our rides, shorts/trousers will be more comfortable than skirts. 

We have a qualified nurse on site at our First Aid Station during opening hours.

Paultons is home to a large number of catering facilities, shops and covered areas. We have three teaching rooms, including Professor Blast’s Learning Lab. There are numerous undercover areas around the park.

Classrooms are fully accessible and facilities accommodate a wide range of needs

Paultons Park is suitable for disabled guests, although there are some ride restrictions depending on the nature of disability. Please refer to our accessibility guide on our website for details. Some workshops are not suitable for disabled visitors. Please speak to our Education team if unsure.
