We offer the opportunity to see and learn for all age groups. With over 200 species of tropical invertebrates there is something to fascinate everyone and the chance to handle creatures you have probably never seen before.

What is typically included on our school trips
A typical school visit has access to three visitor houses, a handing experience with a variety of insects and a 20-minute talk about the leaf cutter ant colony with a Q&A session. Any specific needs for your age group can be arranged.
Group Sizes Catered For
There is no limit to group sizes visiting but parties larger than 25 will be split into smaller groups for the bug handling sessions and ant talks.
Materials, Resources & Information Provided
There are wallboards throughout the attraction giving lots of information about invertebrates and are ideal as a teaching aid as you go throughout the 15 visitor centers at the parc.

Clothing Requirements
The visitor houses are kept at 24 to 25 degrees so please bear this in mind when dressing for your visit.

Our Chrysalis Cafe sells home-made food, drinks and snacks and we can cater for packed or hot lunches with indoor and outdoor dining areas.
We have a gift shop selling gifts, toys and ice-creams.
Outdoor play areas including a Jumping Pillow.
