At Adventure Island, school trips can include optional Key Stage activity packs, allowing teachers to incorporate curriculum-linked learning into the visit alongside the ride experience.
These activity packs are designed for different age groups and include:
- Key Stage 1 & 2:
- Basic maths activities and counting tasks
- Observation exercises around rides and attractions
- Simple English tasks, including descriptive writing and vocabulary building
- Encouraging teamwork and communication
- Key Stage 3 & 4:
- Maths-based challenges such as measuring, timing and problem-solving
- Physics links including forces, motion and speed in relation to rides
- English-based tasks such as reviewing experiences or creative writing

Group sizes
Adventure Island welcomes school groups with a minimum of 20 students.
We can accommodate both small and large groups, including full year groups and multiple classes. Due to the park’s compact layout, groups can be easily managed and supervised throughout the day.
Materials provided
Yes, we provide optional Key Stage activity packs to support learning during the visit.
These have been developed by our team alongside input from educators, ensuring they are relevant, practical and easy to use. The packs can be completed during the visit or used as part of classroom learning before or after the trip.

Photography, filming & audio restrictions
Photography is permitted around the park; however, guests must ensure that other visitors and staff are not clearly identifiable without consent.
Filming requires prior approval and a filming pass from Customer Services.
For safety reasons, photography and filming are strictly prohibited on rides unless using a securely fitted, chest-mounted camera. No other devices or mounting types are permitted on rides.
Risk assessment
Schools are welcome to arrange a pre-visit to support their planning.
We can also provide a health and safety documentation upon booking. These documents are designed to support schools in completing their own risk assessments prior to their visit.

Pricing
Adventure Island is a free admission park, so teachers can enter without a wristband.
For school groups (minimum of 20 students), wristbands are available from £15 per student.
Teacher wristbands are only required if staff wish to access rides. Free teacher wristbands are allocated as follows:
• Primary schools: 1 free teacher wristband per 4 students
• Secondary schools: 1 free teacher wristband per 8 students
Clothing requirements
All visitors must wear appropriate clothing, including a top, suitable footwear and appropriate bottoms, at all times whilst at the attraction.
For health and safety reasons, loose-fitting clothing and unsuitable footwear may not be permitted on certain rides. Guests may be asked to remove or secure any loose items before riding.
First Aid
We have multiple team members trained in first aid, supported by a dedicated on-site security team. Defibrillators are also available across the park.
As part of their own risk assessment, schools are advised to bring a qualified member of staff within their group.
Available facilities
We offer a gift shop, a range of sideshows and numerous catering outlets across the park, serving a wide variety of food and drink options.
There are plenty of seating areas throughout the park for students and staff to relax, supervise groups or enjoy meals, as well as conveniently located toilet facilities.
Indoor spaces are also available, providing shelter in adverse weather and additional areas for groups to gather if needed.
