Here, pupils can explore the surrounding area, they can enjoy exciting outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, walking, or teambuilding challenges. With self-catering and catered options, the residential centre can accept groups up to 27 students.

Set within the wider estate, the Big Lodge is well placed for days spent walking, cycling, or enjoying the surrounding landscape, with plenty of room to return, relax, and unwind at the end of the day. Ideal for self programming groups wanting to organise a wide variety of educational and outdoor activities. Flexible accommodation over two floors a mixture of bunk beds and single beds. Washing and drying facilities and spacious cooking, dining and sitting areas making it comfortable whatever the season.

The combination of high-quality accommodation and its proximity and access to the walking and biking in the local hills and the canoe trails accessible on the River Tweed. The Big Lodge is close to the Southern Upland Way, John Buchan Way and the River Tweed Trail. There is good break out space inside and outside the lodge. Set just off the back road it is private and peaceful.

We can sleep up to 27 in the Big Lodge and other cottages are available by request.

There are 6 rooms in total over two floors.
Downstairs sleeps up to 14 in 4 rooms, these all have bunk beds. Two rooms have an ensuite bathroom and there is also an accessible bathroom and a toilet/shower.
Upstairs sleeps up to 13 in 2 large rooms all with singe beds, one sleeps 6 the other 7. These have access to two shower rooms.
