                            Adventure 4 You is an outdoor activity center offering a variety of water and land-based adventurous activities and experiences. We hold the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOTC) badge and are approved by Adventure Mark. Our philosophy is, that through Support, Adventure, Fun and Education children can achieve great things! We believe in challenge by choice which encourages children to make their own choices to challenge themselves to achieve on a personal level.

We believe in the power of the outdoors and the benefits it brings to children’s health and well-being. Our programs provide adventurous activities and experiences where children can learn, achieve and develop key life skills in a safe environment.

What is typically included on your school trips relating to Key Stage
 
                                 
                            Half day trip will include 2 activities and a full day trip will include 4 different activities aimed at helping to develop/improve life skills
• Communication – listening to others, respect, voicing ideas, talking to staff, peer-to-peer communication
• Problem-solving – thinking skills, leadership, flexibility, reflection, creativity, patience
• Teamwork – how to be a team member, listening to others, leading a team, making decisions, sharing, building relationships
• Resilience – to understand and accept failure and understand how to achieve.
• Independence – making decisions, self-care, time management and organisation.
• Self Confidence – support children to experience new things, and challenge themselves to achieve personal goals. To recognise their strengths and understand their difficulties.
• Risk management – understanding potential risks, consequences of actions and the ability to manage risk.

Activities are aimed at ages 7 years and above
Activity sessions are maximum 12 per group.
Photography, filming & audio restrictions
 
                                 
                            Personal/group use only providing you have consent from parents/guardians if under 18 years. No images or videos can be sold or used by a third party.
Risk assessment
 
                                 
                            Our risk-benefit analysis for each activity highlights the benefits of participating in each activity with the potential risks and the controlled measures put in place to reduce the risk. We believe in the importance of teaching children to manage risk. The ability to manage risk and understand consequences is an essential life skill.
Before the visit you they will receive, a final schedule, risk-benefit analysis for all the activities, insurance details and site risk assessment.

                            We advise comfortable old sports clothing and trainers. No open shoes, crocs or sliders.
