What does your adventure activity centre offer for school trips

Set in the heart of Leicestershire’s beautiful countryside, Beaumanor Hall is a truly unique destination for outdoor learning and school trips. Owned and operated by Leicestershire County Council, our stunning Victorian manor house (built in 1854) sits within extensive grounds that have hosted educational adventures for more than 50 years. We welcome schools from across the country, offering a unique blend of curriculum-linked themed programmes spanning early years to university level, with themed days that bring history and stories to life. Step back in time with Victorians, World War II, Vikings or Iron Age Celts, or dive into the adventures with Pirates, Robin Hood, Gruffalo and Nature Days.
Each theme is led by experienced instructors – often in full costume and character to create a hands-on memorable learning that supports classroom teaching.
For those seeking physical challenges and outdoor pursuits, our activities include canoeing, climbing, archery, orienteering, high ropes, zip wire, aerial trekking and dedicated team building sessions. We’re also ideally situated as a Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition campsite, with camping facilities and easy access to scenic routes including the Leicestershire round path and Bradgate Park.
Our accommodation on site provides a comfortable and convenient space for your stay, whether you’re visiting for one night or a longer period. We have a fully-kitted kitchen and camping areas meaning we can tailor catering requirements to your group’s needs. Although we’re well known for our beautiful grounds, range of high-octane activities and varied theme days, it’s our fabulously friendly staff that makes a visit to Beaumanor Hall worth it.
