What we offer on a school trip


The Ice Cream Farm is Cheshire’s award-winning, family-friendly tourist attraction bursting with all the fun you need in Cheshire.
The centrepiece is The Parlour, which just happens to hold the Guinness World Record for the ‘Largest Ice Cream Shop’ on the planet. Choose from more than 50 flavours of award-winning Cheshire Farm Ice Cream, with seasonal specials, vegan options, and tasty toppings.
There are play attractions aplenty too; from the playground in Daisy’s Garden to the ball pit and slides in the soft play, the thrills of Rocky Road mini-Land Rovers to Europe’s largest indoor sand and water experience. At The Ice Cream Farm there’s a place to play indoors and outdoors come rain or shine.
Plus, you can now visit the world’s first Ice Cream Drive In next door! A space for visitors who want to enjoy a scoop of Cheshire Farm Ice Cream, a hot drink or pudding, The Ice Cream Drive-In creates a setting to drive in, park up and chill out in a picturesque countryside setting with your favourite sweet treat.

What makes us a great choice for educational groups


The Ice Cream Farm is the UK’s only ice cream-themed attraction. Holding the Guiness World Record for the World’s Largest Ice Cream Shop.
The Ice Cream Farm is fun for all ages – safe for Toddlers to explore, as well as fun for those aged 7 and above in The Loft gaming arcade area where they can try and beat the highscores.
The Ice Cream Farm was the winner of the 2023 Marketing Cheshire Resilience and Innovation award and is also finalist for the 2024 Large Visitor Attraction of the Year and Team of the Year awards.
Accreditation and Awards


No education accreditations but is RoSPA certified for indoor and outdoor play and have a 5-star Food Hygiene rating from the FSA.
What is typically included at our themed attraction school trip


We offer an imaginative and inclusive environment for children to explore. Suitable for pre-school, primary school and Special Educational Need schools. We hope to help teachers find non-traditional ways of engaging with the curriculum through play.
Our school and group booking packages are available during the Cheshire West and Chester term times only and must be pre-booked. There’s a maximum capacity of group bookings per day so visitors are able to enjoy a safe and extraordinary experience.
We have three package options.
Option A
Includes:
- Entry Ticket for admission into The Ice Cream Farm
- Unlimited play during your visit on Daisy’s Garden outdoor play area
- A scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone or tub
Option B
Includes:
- Entry Ticket for admission into The Ice Cream Farm
- Unlimited play during your visit on Daisy’s Garden outdoor play area
- A scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone or tub
- Entry into one of the following attractions – Golf /Gemstone Cove / Fun Factory (soft play) / Honeycomb Canyon (sand & water play area) / Loft (arcades games area 7 years and above)
Option C
Includes:

- Unlimited play during your visit on Daisy’s Garden outdoor play area
- A scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone or tub

Sometimes we may ask larger groups to split into smaller groups and work around your chosen activities (and lunchroom) on a rotation basis, this is to ensure less time is spent waiting around and more time is spent playing.

Payment is required by BACS at least 7 days before the visit date.
Pricing


The package options range from £6.50 per child – £12 per child.
Accompanying adults enter The Ice Cream Farm free of charge, but are welcome to purchase an ice cream cone or tub for £3.75.
Every child in your group that attends The Ice Cream Farm receives a FREE Entry Ticket so that they can visit again.
Clothing Requirements


All members of the group should be prepared for the British weather!
The Ice Cream Farm is open 362 days a year rain or shine, and to make the most of your visit it is recommended that you dress for the weather.
This means sun hats and sun cream on the sunny days and wellies and raincoats on the rainy days.
It is recommended that children always wear socks.

Accessibility & Disabled Facilities

Whole site is wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the loft which is upstairs with no lift access.
Multiple disabled toilets throughout site, an accessible toilet is also available through request with an adult hoist, changing table and toilet.
The Ice Cream Farm makes every effort to ensure all our attractions and other facilities are accessible to as many of our visitors as possible.
However The Loft and our party rooms, including The Ice Cave, are located upstairs with no lift access. We are happy to discuss alternative arrangements or if you require more information, please contact our team on 0800 133 7000.
In our central car park we offer a number of disabled spaces on a first come, first served basis for those who are Blue Badge holders. We do ask that the owner of the blue badge be present in the vehicle when parking.
