Testimonials
‘I was so impressed with our facilitators who provide such amusement and engagement for students and adult helpers alike! It was clear the students loved the day and took away so much new knowledge about the history of the Wimbledon area and The Championships. It was brilliant, and as a return visitor it was so lovely to learn more myself, as well as my favourite trip of the Y4 curriculum.’ Lizzie P., primary teacher.
‘As a teacher, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing my student engaging in the workshop activities and feeling passionate about the impact they might have on the future of Wimbledon. The students felt inspired during their entire visit, and consistently mentioned how ‘amazing’ it felt that they were there, where all the action happens. I would 100% recommend this to other teachers – we are already planning to return!’ Rachel D., secondary teacher.
‘Our annual visit to what is one of the most prestigious sporting institutions in the world is always one of the highlights for our international postgraduate students and perfectly brings to life the key study themes of sports history, heritage and legacy for the class.’ James P., university faculty.
