With over 12 years of experience in the passenger transport industry, and five years operating as KP Travel, we gained a strong understanding of the specific needs and expectations of educational groups. This experience highlighted the importance of a dedicated, education-focused service, which led to the establishment of Continental Coaches Ltd.

By creating a company solely focused on the education sector, we are able to offer a more tailored and flexible approach to school trips, college travel, and youth group transport. We do not operate home-to-school contracts, meaning our drivers are not under pressure from fixed school-run schedules. This allows us to manage delays calmly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for pupils, group leaders, and teaching staff.

Our understanding of the education sector, combined with our flexible operating model, has resulted in many schools and organisations choosing to return to us year after year.

Yes, all of our drivers are DBS checked.

Our current fleet includes:

• 1 x 55-seater wheelchair-accessible coach
• 2 x 53-seater coaches
• 1 x 16-seater minibus

This allows us to accommodate both small and large educational groups.

A full transport risk assessment is provided via email to the group organiser at the enquiry stage, ensuring teachers and educational visit coordinators have all necessary documentation in advance.

Groups are permitted to take photographs and record video and audio onboard our vehicles. There are no copyright restrictions.

Cost per child/pupil/student is determined by the total hire cost divided across the group size.

All vehicles are equipped with first aid kits.
At present, our drivers are not first aid trained.

Our vehicles offer the following facilities:

• DVD players (DVDs not supplied)
• Music system
• USB charging points
• Toilets available on request

For allergy and safety reasons, food and drink are not permitted onboard. This can be requested at the time of booking, subject to a refundable cleaning bond.

We currently operate one DDA-compliant, wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
We plan to upgrade additional vehicles in the near future to further improve accessibility.
