Activate Islington Square Immersive Team Gaming Experience offers an immersive, technology-driven gaming experience where students work together to complete a series of physical and mental challenges. Using wearable wristband technology, teams rotate through multiple interactive game rooms, earning points displayed on a live leader board. The experience develops teamwork, communication and problem-solving in a fun, inclusive environment.

Students develop teamwork, communication, resilience, strategic thinking and leadership whilst taking part in exciting physical and mental challenges suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.

As an active gaming experience, Activate requires players to run, jump, climb, crawl and throw in many of our game rooms. To create a more engaging experience for our guests, we have added elements to make the experience more immersive, such as flashing lights, loud music, and fog.

Most games at Activate involve differentiating colours of the same family and vibrancy.

While all players are welcome to play at Activate, we ask those with pre-existing health conditions to use caution and check with their medical professional before attending when necessary.

Activate staff are happy to guide you through our facility anytime during store hours before you book to determine if Activate is right for you.

We have DDA compliant access to the facility & fully accessible toilets.

We do not have qualified SEN staff

Suitable for small groups through to large school groups. Multiple teams can play simultaneously depending on venue capacity.

Photography is generally permitted for educational and personal use. Group photo available as an optional add-on.

Risk assessments are available upon request. All participants receive a safety briefing before gameplay and activities are supervised by trained staff.
