What does your activity centre offer for school trips
Jungle Parc offers a unique outdoor experience for groups of schoolchildren in a safe and protected environment. Your students get to take part in a wide variety of exciting treetop and forest activities that set us apart from other school trip venues. We provide a full day of fun and adventure, carefully tailored to meet the needs and abilities of your group.
What Does a Typical School Trip to Jungle Parc Look Like?
While we will tailor your particular itinerary to meet the specific needs of your school group, trips to Jungle Parc follow a similar pattern.
For an average group size of around thirty students, we split the party into two groups. For the morning session, Group 1 will take part in forest orienteering or field games (depending on the venue), while Group 2 will tackle the Jungle Parc activity course.
We break for lunch just after midday. Your students can have lunch in one of several designated picnic areas on the site or at our indoor picnic area, although you will need to arrange this ahead of your visit.
After lunch, the two groups will switch activities, with Group 1 taking part in the Jungle Parc course and Group 2 undertaking field games or forest orienteering.
We offer two different types of courses at our Jungle Parc venues:
The Adventurer and the Xplorer. Each includes more than 40 activities for your students to take part in, with different routes possible through the course so each can find a way that matches their skill level.

Further Information
All children taking part in our Adventurer course will require adult supervision. The adults will not actually be climbing on the course themselves but will be walking underneath to assist the children from below with their activities. There should be a minimum of one adult for every five children, though we recommend having more supervisors for very young children (4-5 year olds).
For anyone aged 10-13 who wish to climb the Xplorer course, they will need an adult to child ratio of 1:2 and these adults will need to climb the course also.
For those aged 14 and over, ground supervision is required at a ratio of 1:5.
