Wild Adventures & Global Friendships Await at Prince Bishop International Summer School, Fyling Hall North Yorkshire

The Mayor of Whitby is set to visit a one-of-a-kind residential summer school this July, offering both day and overnight camp experiences in a stunning beachside setting. This year introduces a new initiative providing free places for children from war-torn Ukraine, helping to transform young lives through outdoor education, cultural exchange, and meaningful connection.

Running from 11th July to 10th August 2025, the camp operates 24 hours a day, placing outdoor learning, language exchange, and global friendships at the heart of its programme.

In partnership with local colleges, the summer school is creating opportunities for language students to gain real-world experience by practising foreign languages in immersive, everyday interactions — a valuable and rewarding part of their education.

Welcoming children from both the UK and abroad, this experience is designed to inspire confidence, curiosity, and lifelong memories.
