What makes us a great choice for educational groups

BeWILDerwood is a huge outdoor woodland adventure park full of imagination and active play. No matter how teeny or tall you are, explorers can run WILD in the woods! Think the biggest wonky wooden play structures you can imagine and magical treehouses. Explore giant slippery slides, wobbly zip wires, massive, muddled mazes, plus lots more.
Based on the enchanting book series by creator and author Tom Blofeld, you will find hints of the curious characters as you journey through the WILD wood.
What is typically included on our school trips

English – BeWILDerwood is based on the enchanting tale, a Boggle at BeWILDerwood, which sees Swampy the March Boggle embark on a brave adventure. Walk in Swamy’s footsteps whilst in the woods and see the story come to life at the Storytelling Stage.
Shows are on multiple times a day at the Storytelling Stage. If you are visiting in a big group, please contact the BeWILDerwood team and they can recommend which show to attend.
You can extend your adventure back in the classroom with your very own copy of the book, which you can purchase on the BeWILDerwood website or whilst onsite.
PE – A Day out at BeWILDerwood is especially active and you’ll certainly be worn out by the time you’re heading home! Slippery Slides, Zip Wires, climbing up the tallest treehouses and heaps of ground play to balance along… there’s plenty of opportunity for explorers to be brave and work on physical coordination.
Arts & Crafts – Head to the Big Hat craft tent to make a get crafty! Why not try crafting your very own Boggle or Twiggle house when you get back to the classroom.
Performing Arts – BeWILDerwood is based on the enchanting tale, a Boggle at BeWILDerwood, which sees Swampy the March Boggle embark on a brave adventure. Walk in Swamy’s footsteps whilst in the woods and see the story come to life at the Storytelling Stage. Why not pick up your very own puppet and bring the BeWILDerwood story to your classroom.

Testimonials

“A fantastic day out. Loads to do and the site isn’t too big that you can’t cover it in a few hours. Staff are friendly and helpful. Two cafes with plenty of snack choices and decent coffee, prices reasonable enough but you can take picnics and there are lots of picnic tables and places for grown-ups to sit and watch the kids” – H Carroll on Google.
“Great outdoor spaces for children to explore and enjoy free play. Beautifully set out in the woods, full of adventure around every corner. Well maintained, clean and plenty of amenities. Children absolutely loved it.” – Lesley Smith on Facebook.
