Foxlease Park is an activity centre set in a historic 63-acre, outdoor adventure and residential site located in the heart of the New Forest near Lyndhurst, Hampshire, UK.
Owned by the charity Foxie’s Future, Foxlease Park offers a wide range of activities for children, young people, and adults. With extensive grounds filled with woodland, open fields, and historic buildings—including the beautiful Georgian Foxlease House —Foxlease Park combines nature, adventure, and heritage.
Facilities range from indoor accommodation to camping fields and include a vast array of activity options; with ropes courses, orienteering, and water sports onsite, the site supports a wide demographic—from school groups to corporate team-building events.

Foxlease Park is the ideal place for schools looking to combine education, outdoor learning, and personal development to have an adventure in a safe environment. We design bespoke programmes for schools for all ages and experience levels, ranging from a short, first overnight adventure to week-long adventure packages. Whether it’s teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, or environmental awareness, each activity is crafted to meet the needs of your school. Day visits can be self-led, instructor led or a mix of both.
Schools can take advantage of a variety of outdoor activities that build on essential life skills. These include, amongst others: fun, water-based activities that teach teamwork, coordination, and perseverance; climbing & abseiling, which encourage self-confidence and resilience as pupils conquer their fears; and high ropes, which is perfect for challenging pupils’ comfort zones in a safe and supportive environment.
On site activities


The site has a wide range of facilities, including: outside toilets, changing room space, showers, campsite, site shop, tea and coffee making facilities and ample free parking for customers. We have a large number of indoor spaces and a large, fixed marquee available for use in the event of bad weather.
In terms of on-site activities facilities, there are many. These include: a football pitch, high ropes, archery range, campfire circle, table tennis table, large marquee, onsite watersports/nature lake, direct access to the New Forest open forest, campfire circles, open spaces, and woodland on site. There are also several low cost/FOC self-led activity boxes available for groups to use.

Awards, accreditations


Our activities delivery partner, Lymington Sea School Limited t/a Foxlease Park Activities, is a Paddle UK Delivery Partner and its application for LOtC is pending.
Group sizes


We can have a range of indoor accommodation spaces which can sleep large groups across the site in different sizes of dormitory and which offer self-catering kitchens as well as catered stays. Options include:-
- The Coach House: Sleeps 37 people
- The Lodge: Sleeps 37 people (but can be divided into self-contained floors for smaller groups)
- The Barn: Sleeps 28 people
- Tented Camping: We can comfortably provide tents for groups of approximately 120 people plus leaders (subject to availability) and can offer additional space for those looking to bring their own tents.
We can mix accommodation options for you for groups exceeding numbers for each space so please do get in touch to discuss requirements.
Most adventurous activities offered on site are suitable for children aged 7+; however, we also have a selection of activities suitable for children aged 5+ and welcome younger groups for general site visits to the grounds.
We will generally split groups up into a maximum of 10 or 12 participants depending on the activity as required by NGB guidelines. We can cater for approximately up to 120 pupils on site at one time.
Room sizes, types


The accommodation is dormitory style and varies in size depending upon the building – the floor plans for all buildings are available on our website. Leaders/Adult rooms are en suite. Bedding can be provided for an extra cost or standard pricing includes a mattress cover, pillow and pillow protector, for groups to bring their own pillowcases, base sheets and sleeping bags. Each building contains self-catering kitchens, and a main hall/dining area.
Campsites can be equipped or unequipped. Tents are glamping style (without interior fittings). Each campsite has a solid hut, toilets, and hot showers which is exclusive to that campsite and not shared with any other group.
Risk assessment


We review our policies, procedures and risk assessments on at least an annual basis or more frequently, if circumstances require, e.g., change in NGB rules, on recommendation of our Technical Advisors, following accident or incident, or following re-structure etc. to ensure that these polices maintain relevance. Photography, Filming & Audio Restrictions


At Foxlease Park we love to see what our customers have been up to and encourage guests to record their experiences but would ask that photos or videos only be taken of their own group or the site due to safeguarding and GDPR consents. We may ask groups (in advance) for photo permissions so we can take some photos for marketing purposes.

We tailor our pricing to group size, budget and length of stay for each group; however, sample pricing packages for indoor residential visits are set out in the table below.
One adult to 10 children goes free.
Residentials includes overnight stays, adventurous activities as detailed below. Full Board includes continental breakfasts, packed lunch and evening meal. Accommodation includes bedding. Other catering and board options are available. Example prices are per pupil.

First Aid


All of our delivery staff, duty managers and on call staff are first aid trained and we have a defibrillator installed on site.

Accessibility & Disabled Facilities


Foxlease Park is a DDA compliant site. All of the buildings have wheelchair access and accessible bathrooms. Most of the grounds are wheelchair accessible (although some areas require all terrain wheelchair). We have a number of activities which can be adapted to ensure inclusion – please enquire for further details and to discuss your group’s needs as we work with you to tailor your visit appropriately.
Opening times


We are open for trips Monday to Sunday throughout the year all year round with flexible arrival and departure times. Please note some outdoor activities may not be available during the off season (November to March) e.g. water-based activities and camping.
Location information


Foxlease Park is in the heart of the New Forest and has direct access on to open forest. The following local attractions are nearby: Beaulieu Motor Musem, Lymington Sea Water Baths, Marwell Zoo, Lyndhurst Village, Paulton’s Park, Lyndhurst Heritage Centre, Buckler’s Hard, Splashdown Water Park, Longdown Dairy Farm and New Forest Wildlife Park.

The site is under new ownership and management – Foxlease Park was formerly known as Girlguiding Foxlease whilst under previous ownership. The charity, Foxie’s Future CIO, acquired the site in November 2024 and it re-opened under new management and after renovation in February 2025.
