Woodrow High House is a Grade II listed manor house buried deep in the Chilterns. We have 26 acres of grounds to explore, an off-road mountain bike track, a swimming pool, a sports hall, and a large selection of outdoor activities to choose from.
We know we can’t guarantee the weather at any time of the year; rain, wind and snow are exhilarating. Our Winter Residentials are set up for young people to create teamwork, resilience, and to build trust and relationships with their peers. Our expert instructors will nurture and encourage each child every step of the way, helping them to step outside their comfort zones. Young people leave with confidence levels as high as the Jacob’s Ladder they’ve conquered!
Woodrow is a Christmas Wonderland from mid-November onwards, where young people will see the magic in the Manor House. Christmas dinners are on offer too!
Our experienced and friendly team will work with you, on a one-to-one basis, to design a winter programme that works for your group, based on the desired outcomes of your stay and with your young people’s needs at the heart of it all.
