The Wizard Walk has ideal links with English – especially storytelling and creative writing. We wand-er around this enchanting city taking in many of it’s historical locations too including The Shambles, York Minster, St William’s College and more.

Your guide is trained in Drama, Applied Theatre and Education and has extensive experience delivering schools workshops for KS1 and KS2.

We can accommodate group sizes up to around 35, and often split larger groups into multiple tours on the same day – or across several days.

Optional Wizard Wand Kits are available to purchase – a magical add-on at a pocket-money price. A wooden wand to use on the tour, instructions to learn seven magical tricks and a certificate. Pupils love creating their own magic and becoming trainee wizards themselves!

Photos and videos are permitted, and The Wizard allows time at the end of a tour for photos

All tours start at the bottom of York’s Shambles, the most famous medieval street in Europe. From there, we’ll explore the sights of this magical city on an activity like no other.
