Stithians Lake provides stunning natural environments where groups can get to grips with on water activities, develop communication skills, team work, creativity, confidence, determination and build independence. There is a range of activities to choose from including kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, raft building, sailing, windsurfing, wing surfing, wing foiling and efoiling.

Whether you’re planning for a school trip, a youth group outing, or a team-building event, our experienced team specialises in creating customised experiences that cater to all abilities and goals.

AALA, RYA Recognition

We are an RYA Onboard Centre.

The Onboard programme complements the national curriculum and provides a variety of valuable life skills that help to build confidence and shape personal development through water activities https://www.rya.org.uk/start-boating/get-onboard-childrens-sailing/teachers-and-youth-leaders

Ages 8+ Instructor student ratio 1:8 (Some activities have a lower ratio)

We can provide RYA logbooks and certificates if booking an RYA sailing or windsurfing course. We can also provide teachers/leaders with information about RYA Onboard.

Our charity subsidises its prices for ‘uniformed’ groups, school, college and university groups:

-2 hour session – £190 per group of 8 participants. One activity.

-3 hour session – £270 per group of 8 participants. Can mix 2 activities.

-5 hour (full day) – £375 per group of 8 participants. Can mix 3 activities.

* Ratios for RYA Sailing and Windsurfing courses are 1:6. Detailed pricing available by request

* Ratios for wing surfing 1:4, wing foil 1:2  and efoil 1:4 Detailed pricing available by request

Wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets and wind proof jackets are provided. Participants will need to bring water shoes/wetsuit boots/old trainers, swimming costume, towel and sun cream.

All staff are first aid trained and we have a first aid point in the main office and in all safety boats.

Toilets, changing rooms, showers, café, campsite and ample free parking for customers. There are several picnic benches on the main lawn and inside space can be provided in the event of bad weather.

Our building is wheelchair accessible and we have one accessible toilet/shower changing room.

Groups can request any day of the week
